51. Chapter Fifty One

Natalia's POV

"Are you sure you can handle more kids?" I asked Uncle Cile.

"They're like my own, T. I can handle them perfectly fine."

"Alright. If anything comes up, and I mean anything, call me. And I'll be home."

"Alright, alright. Go already. Have fun. Be a teenager." I nodded and walked down the flight of stairs.

"So?" Jason asked as I got into the car.

"We are kid free." He smiled widely and pulled out of the driveway. "Before we leave Brooklyn, are you sure you have everything?"

"Yes," I replied.

"I'm wearing them, babe." He rolled his eyes.

"Swimming gear?"

"Swimming gear? What are we?"

"I don't know what you wear, woman."

"Jason, I have everything."

"Just making sure. Because we're about to leave lovely Brooklyn."

"Good. Take me away." I sighed. He put his hand on my thigh.

"You didn't sleep so well last night, why don't you try to take a nap or something?"

"I can't sleep in the car."

"Why not?"

"The movement."

"Just try. Because we're going to have a rough night tonight. I know Bria wants to go clubbing. And Addison wants to hang by the pool. So, who knows what's going on tonight." I nodded.

"Well, trust me, I can't fall asleep in the car." I smiled, watching as we drove with the regular New York traffic.

"Talia, baby, we're here," Jason whispered. I picked up my head up and looked around. I looked out the windshield and gasped. A huge black metal gate stood between the car and the road.

"No, we're not. Let me sleep."

"We are here." He replied, reaching out the window.

"Yes?" Someone asked.

"Yo, open the gate."

"What's the magic word?"

"Addison, open the damn gate before I chop you into pieces. I have a tired Talia, and she's cranky."

"Damn, alright. What crawled up your ass and died?"

"I'm sorry, is this a driveway or a road?"

"Driveway. Give it a little." Jason laughed before a hotel came into view.

"I'm sorry, is this a house or a hotel?"

"It's a house." Jason laughed. "Welcome to the Hampton's baby." He stopped the car and opened his door. "I'll get the bags, okay? And, my aunt already called us out of school for Monday and Tuesday." I gazed up at the huge house in front of me. A huge White House stood in front of me, expanding for what looked like miles. Big windows stood tall in the front of the house, and the driveway. Don't even get me started. The driveway has to be as long as my whole life.

"Are you coming or not?" Jason asked, carrying my pink bags. I opened the door slowly and got out one foot at a time.

"Are you sure I'm allowed to be here?"

"Why wouldn't you be?"

"Um, maybe because I'm pretty much a seventeen-year-old poor girl, with two siblings and basically no parents. And here I am, in the Hamptons."

"Hey, I'm in the same boat as you are." My eyes got even bigger if it was possible. In front of me, was a double sided staircase, with a hallway between the two. A couch stood off to the left, and a dining room to table to the right.

"Yo!" Jason yelled.

"Kitchen!" We walked to the back of the house, with my eyes still in awe.

"There's a freaking echo. Jason, there's an echo." I said, clutching his arm. He shook his head at my amazed state. Jason put our bags down in the hallway, right before the big opening to the kitchen.

"I can't believe this."

"Believe it, baby." Jason smiled, kissing my cheek. Four people stood around the breakfast nook. Adelaide stood with her arm interlocked with her husband, and her belly prominent against the counter. Bria, who's hair turned brown, stood by herself. And Addison stood with, what seemed to be his girlfriend.

"Oh, shit," Jason said, as Addison's girlfriend turned her head.

"What?" I asked. His arm knocked into a bunch of pans, knocking them over onto the floor. The commotion brought us to the attention of the four family members.

"Look, it's the love birds," Addison smirked, walking to us. He hugged me tightly, then looked at Jason. "Hello?" Addison asked, waving his hand in front of Jason's face.

"I don't know what's up with him, b-"

"Talia!" Bria yelled, running to me. She engulfed me in a tight and secure hug and put her chin on my shoulder. "Thank god you are here. It's so awkward being the only single one. But now Jason can share me with you." Adelaide smiled at me, as I pushed Jason to see his family.

"I'm going to put the bags in the room. You... Um, you mingle." Jason said, letting my hand go.

"Oh, wait. Before you go, I wanna introduce you to my girlfriend." Addison smiled, putting his arm around the small girl's waist. I looked to Jason, who just stared at the ground. "This is my girlfriend, who's actually my age this time, so Jase, don't steal her." Addison joked. I looked at Jason, who had his hand secured tightly in mine. "This is my girlfriend, Carly."

Jason and I walked up the stairs, as quiet as can be. Neither of us spoke, but we didn't need to. I knew Jason never thought he would see her again. But I need to bring it up.

"Is tha-"

"And she's dat-"

"Addison. Yup."

"Did you kn-"

"Jason, stop cutting me off. You don't even know what I'm gonna say."

"Sorry. God, why am I so nervous to be around her?" He asked, running his hands down his face. He sat on the bed and shook his head. "Why am I feeling this way?" He groaned loudly into his hands.

"Because, I think, you still have that tiny feeling that her kid is yours." He looked up at me. "And because of your ex, somewhat, girlfriend, and your current girlfriend are now in the same house for five days."

"I never get this way. Make it stop." He said, holding my hand.

"Jason, you know I can't do that. I can't take the nerves away, no matter what I do. Your nerves are your nerves. You don't have to talk to her, but you have to actually realize she's here." He took a deep breath and nodded.

"If it'll make you feel better, I'll stay by your side."

"You're so good to me." He whispered, pulling me onto his lap.

"I know. But we can't do this right now."

"And why not?" He asked, unzipping the zipper in the front of my tank top.

"Because I have to call uncle Cile, and make sure everything is fine at home. And... Your cousins are downstairs."

"So? Your uncle can wait. And so can my family."

"Jason, we can't."

"Fine, but you owe me later. Big time. Ms, top and bottom."

I slapped my hand to my forehead and got off his lap. "T." He said, standing up. I turned around. "I love you, alright? No matter what she says.... I only love you. And that ring proves it." He said, pointing to the promise ring on my finger.

"I know, Jason. I know."

"Okay, so tell me, how's my oh so loving cousin treating you?" Addison asked, putting his arm around my shoulder, leading me into the kitchen with everyone else.

"Um, good. I think."

"I heard about what happened. And I heard you forgave him. He's a dumbass, but he's in love." He said, letting me go.

"My baby cousin is in love." Bria sang. I rolled my eyes.

"So, any little ones running around?" I noticed Carly look up quickly, and narrow her eyes at me.

I shook my head. "Um, no. Unless you count my sister and brother that we're watching."

"Oh, that's right. Where are they? You should've brought them."

"Oh, it would be too much of a hassle to bring them here."

"Carly brought her son. He's adorable, he's running around here somewhere."

I took a deep breath. "Isn't that such a shame?" I fought, looking at Carly.

"Talia," Jason said, turning the corner. I looked at him and saw his worried eyes.

"Excuse me," I said, before walking to the corner Jason was at.

"Her kid is here." He whispered, closing the closet door.

"I know."

"I can't do this, T."

"Hey, you're not supposed to be like this."

"I can't do this, Talia. There's a small part of me that believes her kid is mine."

"Okay, Jason. You need to stop this. If her son is yours, then that's that. It doesn't make me change the way I love you, alright? And you even said there was none of your DNA in the kid." He took a deep breath. "It's okay, baby," I whispered, putting my forehead against his. He held me by the waist and breathed in. "You're gonna have to face Addison or someone." He nodded. "But I'll be right by your side." I smiled.

"I'm going to call uncle Cile. I'll be right back." I said, as entered the kitchen, hand in hand.

"Stay." He whispered, holding my hand tighter.

"Jase, I'm sure your family doesn't wanna hear me as if he's handling more kids okay."

"I don't mind." Adelaide smiled. Everyone else nodded.

"Natalia, I swear you call me one more time, I'll ground you." Uncle Cile answered.

"Well, hello to you too, my lovely uncle."

"This is the fifth time you called me."

"I know. But I'm just making sure Macey and the baby are okay."

"They're fine. Serena has them in the factory across the street." I dropped my hand.

"You're kidding, right? Please tell me your kidding."

"No, I'm serious. She wanted to take them for a walk, and they went to the factory."

"Macey is four, and Zack is only three months! And you let your girlfriend take them to a freaking factory!?" I exclaimed, turning my back.

"Jesus, calm down, T. I'm kidding. They're at the park with Serena and Leah."

"Don't do that to me. I would die if they were in a factory."

"But you should've heard your voice." He laughed. That's the worst thing about having a young uncle. He jokes around. A lot.

"I can't with you." I groaned. "They're fine. They're at the park with Serena and her daughter." I informed, putting my phone in my back pocket. Jason wrapped his arms around my waist, and kissed my cheek.

"So, how did you two meet?" I asked, referring to Addison and Carly.

"Robert ran into me at the mall one day, and there she was, running after him." Addison smiled, looking down at Carly. Bria looked to me, to Jason and then to Carly. She bit her lip and shook her head.

"Talia, can we talk for a second?" She asked. "Yeah, be right back." I smiled, taking Jason's arms away from me.

"What's going on?" She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Between you, Jason and Carly. Somethings going on."

"It's really not my place to say."

"Just tell me. The tension is so high in the room. I'm pretty sure the fish in the tank could feel it."

"Bria it's Jason's story, not m-"

"you can tell her." A woman's voice rang through my ears. I turned around and came face to face with Carly. "Bri, I once dated Jason." I looked down.

"There. Done, and finished. Wasn't that hard." Carly huffed, before walking away. I turned back to Bria, who had her eyebrows knitted in confusion.

"I'm so confused."

"She once dated Jason. And she fell in love. But he wasn't. She got pregnant, and Jason never saw her again."

"Wait... So her kid running around here, is Jason's kid?"

"Jason said no, but I think he has this feeling that it's possible."

She took a deep breath and shook her head. "Her kid is what, two?" I nodded.

"Oh my god. That story I told you. That's her." I nodded. "Talia, I'm so sorry."

"I'm fine. She's just giving me a hard time." We walked back into the kitchen, and everyone looked at me.

"What?" I asked. My eyes found the small little boy sitting on the table.

"Can we talk?" Jason asked. Addison looked pissed, and Adelaide looked confused as all hell.

"He... Looks like you." I whispered. He nodded and scratched the back of his neck. "Is it?"

He bit his lip and smiled. "No."

"Wait, what? He looks exactly like you."

"It's not mine. But, she's obsessed with me. He ran in and ran to me. Apparently.... Someone's been showing her child pictures of me, and saying I'm his father."

"But he's not yours?"

He shook his head. "He may look like me, but my eyes are brown, and so are hers. And the kid has blue eyes."

"Okay, what the hell is going on?!" Addison exclaimed.

"Nothing now. Absolutely nothing." Jason replied.

"Okay, but Robert calling you daddy means something."

"I told you. It's nothing. Just some misunderstanding." He shook his head and left us alone.

"Let's go upstairs, yeah?"

"I told you later, didn't I?"

"Oh, that."

"Let's go to sleep. You look exhausted."

"As tired as can be,"

Jason draped his arm over my waist, and kissed my temple, as I faced the balcony doors. "Wanna know something?" He asked, bringing his like close to my ear.

"I've been thinking about something, and I think I'm finally ready to say it." I turned to him. "Talia, I think I want to have a kid in the future." I looked at him. "A boy. And maybe a girl." I didn't speak. "You can choose the boy's name... But I was Valerie Alexandra."

"Okay." I tried to hide my excited state.

"I want... A Valerie Alexandra with you."

"Talia, I want kids with you." I smiled and nodded.

"Just not yet," I said. He laughed and nodded.

"But I want them. So badly. I wanna come to home a little girl and boy, and get the feeling of hugging them. And calling them mine. I want the feeling of seeing toys splattered around a house. And I want car seats in the back of my car."

"I love you so much."

"I love you more."

"No matter what," I whispered, intertwining my hand in his. His hand enclosed on mine, and he held it up.

"No matter what."

Valerie Alexandra Summers. Nathaniel Jason Summers.
