"You are one weird jelly bean, Princess."-4

After my encounter with Travis I just walked to second period, maths. Don't get me wrong I don't hate math I just hate DOING math. It's pointless to know how to find the mystery number your solving. It's not gonna go into an everyday thing.

I CANNOT make myself mad again, I just can't.

I had to get my mind off of it.

Nobody I really new was in my math class so I just sat down and tried my hardest to pay attention.

I have a low B, not that my dad would care.

Because he doesn't care about anybody else but himself.

I am more disappointed with my grade than my own father.

I really need to get into a good college, I'm not even in senior year, only me second and I still care throughly about college.

I've been dreaming of going to an arts college since I was 8. It's crazy how long you can hold a passion.

I just closed my eyes and payed attention to what Mr. Caliber had to say.

After math I had, science, then I had lunch period.

I stilled into the cafeteria feeling slightly self-conscious considering I'm such a klutz and I could fall at any moment.

I went to the lunch line and grabbed a tray of terrible looking spaghetti. Who the fuck would ACTUALLY eat this? I grabbed chips so I could actually have something to eat, and a water.

I took steps that made me look careless and confident but I was truly scared.

In grade five I had this terrible food on my plate and I fell and it got ALL over me, to say I was embarrassed would be an understatement.

"HEY, Princess come sit here." I pretended I didn't here Travis but I had to walk past his table to get to the out side picnic tables.

I tried to walk past him and not be noticed. You would think my height would help me just blend into the crowd. I was only 5'4 so I thought I would be hard to notice but apparently Travis could see me. He forced me to- once again- sit next to him and his football mates.

"Did you not hear me?" He said giving me a side way glance.

"Oh, I was to busy trying to pay attention to my coordination so I won't fall." I said looking him in the eye.

"I like how she's honest." A guy- whose name I don't even know- said.

"Honesty is the best policy." I shrugged, even though I lied. I just didn't want to tel him I didn't want to sit with them. You know can't hurt a mans ego so much in one day.

"So, why do you want me to sit with you?" I said looking at Travis.

"Only because your friends weren't here and I didn't want you to sit alone." He explained.

"Thanks, but I have to roll. My boss wants me to work at the library during lunch." I said to him.

"That's a lie." He accused, ME of lying.

"I don't lie." I lied again.

"You do too," he pointed at me, "only lier's would say they don't lie." He said like he was accusing me of commuting the worlds biggest crime.

"What do you want me to say, that I always tell the truth and I've never spoken an unclean- or- untrue word in my life? Because I could just say I'm not a lier, and it could take up less time." I shrugged. "But I could always give you a five minute speech using big words to say I'm not a lier." I laughed.

"That was long enough. I still think you lie and I KNOW you don't work at the library at lunch." He once again accused ME of lying. I NEVER lie.

Okay, I'm just lying to myself now.

"Okay, okay fine I lied, you got it out of me." I laughed out.

"Are you going to eat the spaghetti?" He looked hungry even though he already ate his lunch.

"Nope, but don't dare touch my Cheetos because I will kill you." I glared at him.

"Awe, how cute, the two love-birds sharing lunch!" I knew immediately who it it was and I cringed at the sound of her voice.

"Hello, holly." I cringed again at the sound of her name. Travis looked confused while he was eating my spaghetti. He obviously didn't know who she was. Which was pretty ironic considering she's had like the biggest crush on him since grade five. You know how I said friends come and go like seasons? Well she was one of those seasons.

"Anna." She nodded her head towards me. She had brown hair and brown eyes, a nasally voice. Mouse like features and a kind of man like build.

She used to be nice, which was the only thing she had going for her, but then she thought she was all that and a bag of chips.

Rumor has it she was jealous of me, or some weird shit like that. Jealous, of me? Who would be jealous of me?

I opened my Cheetos not minding her presence I honestly did know why she was here. But, then again, I didn't know why I was here.

"Please, Anna can I have one Cheeto?" Travis asked. I rolled my eyes and gave him three Cheetos.

"Because you asked nicely." I laughed at my own motherly tone.

"You literally are the best Anna." He grinned at me. No smirk, but he still didn't have a smile.

"Are you two dating or something?" Hollis nasally voice spoke up. I blushed at her comment but it wasn't noticeable, or at least nobody chose to mention it.

"No!" We both spoke n'sink. Baby bye, bye, bye.

We then started to laugh nervously.

"Well whatever." Holly decided to take a seat next to Travis.

"Hey Travis, do you want to come over to my house tonight? My parents aren't home." I almost laughed when Travis looked at me like, 'do something Anna!' I actually laughed a little.

"Me and Anna lied we are together! We just didn't want announce it yet!" Travis laughed, and wrapped his arm around me.

"Right, Princess?" Travis looked at me like, 'you better lie!'

"Of course! Like he said we just didn't want to announce it!" I practically yelled out a lie of shock.

The rest of the boys of the football team looked confused. Holly looked pissed. Yay, another reason for her to hate me!

Then one of the boys spoke up.

"Anna? Dude niccccee." He prolonged the nice. I glared at him. Holly just got up and stalked away. After she was out of sight. Travis took his arm off me. It felt good with him touching me. Wait brain stop, no it didn't feel good.

"Phew, thanks for saving my ass, Anna." Travis sighed. I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Wait so Anna's still on the market! Cool, dude." One guy looked like your all American football player. Blonde hair blue eyes.

"I'm on the market, but I'm not in your market." I seethed.

"Ohhh dude she told you! Now, can I have a piece of Anna pie?" An overly obnoxious guy said.

"No." Travis said for me.

"Awe man let her decided." The obnoxious guy said.

I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Travis just took the words straight out of my mouth. No." I said.

When did guys like me? Like um never.

"Awe, well it was worth a shot." He said.

"Florence and the machines." I blurted without thinking. Everybody looked at me weird except Travis.

"Anna not again." Travis just sighed.

"Wait what is she talking about?" I guy who's been quiet from the begging till now said.

"Dude, don't further her into what she is about to do!" Travis warned.

"Wait, I want to know. Anna, do your thing that Travis so desperately doesn't want you to do." Said the quiet guy. Hmm I like him already.

"It's a shot in the dark aimed right at my throat. It's hard to dance with the devil your back so shaaaake him off." I memorized from Shake it out by Florence and the Machines.

"You've awoken a beast," Travis sighed.

The guys where still processing what happened.

"She's good." I guy nodded his head.

"What song is that?" One asked.

The bell rang.

"Well looks like I have to roll. See you later!" I waved them off rushing to get out of class.

My phone did the Kim possible text tone thing.

I almost wanted to reply 'what's the sitch?'

Travis- you are one weird jelly bean, Princess.

Me- I'm even weirder than that sentence.
