18. Chapter Eighteen.

Twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six. I counted my crunches inside of my head, feeling my abs burn but not stopping. After forty, I took a breather and lay down on the yoga mat, feeling sweat trickle down my forehead.

I'd been coming to the gym alot more often lately, finding it a way to deal with what was going on. I liked to push myself harder and turn my brain off for the time I came here.

I did cardio for another hour and then left, went to shower and dress after I was ready.

I stepped into the humid air, the wind blowing my fresh blow dried hair everywhere. Tyler was supposed to pick me up today, since I'd let Faith use my car to go see her brother for the weekend. I saw him pull up and a smile crept on my lips as I saw his face through the windows.

I opened the door and got inside, facing a very smiley Tyler.

''How was the gym?''he inquired after giving me a hello kiss.

''Great as always,''I replied, taking a sip of my coffee that Tyler had bought me. Just as I was putting my coffee cup down again, Tyler pressed the brakes so hard that I flew ahead and felt my seatbelt tug on my stomach, making it sting on my neck.

I was about to ask Tyler what the hell he was doing, but then I looked outside and saw just why he'd stopped so abruptly. I felt every muscle inside of me tense and my breathing pick up, as I watched him crossing the road. Dean. In ripped denim jeans and a brown t-shirt with stains, he looked almost homeless and I felt shivers run up my spine just looking at him. What the heck was he doing here?! I looked at Tyler, his eyes glued to Dean, who'd already crossed the road but Tyler just looked out of the window to the crossing.

The cars behind us began to honk, some even yelling for us to move.

''Tyler, you have to drive!''I yelled, moving closer to him and forcing him to look at me. His fists were clenched and I could notice how stiff his body was. He was angry.

''Please,''I said to him, knowing exactly what he was thinking and begging him not to. His eyes searched mine, and he stepped on the gas and I held onto my seat, my nails pressing into the leather. One of my hands was still placed on Tyler's shoulder, trying to ease him as much as I could.

I hadn't even noticed I was only breathing tiny breaths when he stopped in front of the dorm building and I let out a huge breath. Tyler didn't look at me, he just stormed outside from the car and I followed. He kicked a rubbish bin over with his foot, cursing in the process.

''Please, don't,''I walked closer to him, only wanting to bury my head into his arms and have him hold me until everything was okay again. But I knew he was angry and how much it took of him to hold his anger back on that road.

''I should've fucking destroyed that piece of-''he groaned, his hands in his hair in frustration. He was walking in circles, and I finally grabbed his tall arms and made him look at me.

His eyes were full of desperation, anger and even hurt. It pained me to see him like this.

''You shouldn't have hit him. I'm glad you didn't,''I took his face into my hands, the stubble making it feel rough.

''I should have,''he broke away from me again, probably looking at something else to hit.

''Listen to me! No you shouldn't have, cause you would've ended up at the police and what were we gonna do then?''I raised my voice and he turned around, looking at me.

He walked to me and took me into his arms, his pleasant scent filling my nostrils. He repeated ''I'm so sorry'' more times than I could count, and I felt so safe with his arms squeezing me tight and filling up every hole Dean had caused in my heart.

''Damn, your girl knows how to play cards,''Luke shaked his head in disbelief, chuckling as he shuffled his cards.

''She's talented at basically everything,''Tyler said, looking at me from the other side of the table.

''I bet she wins in bed, aye?''one of the guys called out and I threw a pillow at him, telling him to shut his mouth.

Me and Tyler had come to the boys house tonight, I knew Tyler missed his friends and truthfully, I needed to have a bit of fun with all the things going on it was only good for me to relax.

We'd been playing cards for about an hour and I'd beat everyone. I couldn't lie, I did feel proud of myself.

''Another round?''Miles asked, looking around the table.

''Yeah, I'm gonna go get a drink,''I spoke, standing up from in between Miles and Luke. I walked towards the kitchen and heard Tyler follow me.

He opened the fridge and handed me an apple cider.

''Are you having a good time, babe?''he asked, wrapping one of his arms around my waist and pulling me into him.

''Very,''I replied with a smile and pecked his lips, walking away just as he wanted to kiss me harder. I heard him groan and a smirk played on my lips, the guys whistling from the large couch, some even laughing. I sat back down again, taking a sip of my cider and feeling the cool liquid rush down my throat. Tyler walked in behind me, a few of the guys patting on his back as they walked by.

He shook his head as he looked at me, and I bit my lip, knowing that drove him insane. I loved teasing him, and I saw him chuckle and look at his cards.

After playing and winning another game, I'd been able to really let myself relax and have a great evening. Not to mention, during the game, I'd teased Tyler every now and then, making him glare at me, which only brought me pleasure.

''Fucking hell, just come here,''Tyler breathed out and came towards me, lifting me on his lap and kissing me like never before. The guys behind us were blowing wolf whistles and shouting things to lead us on. The only thing I could think about, though, was his mouth on mine and the way his warm tongue was playing with mine. His hands were in my hair, mine on his cheeks and both of our eyes closed shut.

''Get a room, Christ,''someone called out and laughs followed. Me and Tyler finally pulled apart, and I was sure my lips were swollen from that.

''You know what, we will,''Tyler said, and picked me up by my legs and I squealed. He carried me to his room, and lay me down on the bed.

He set himself on top of me as his hands found their way under my shirt. I closed my eyes as I felt him kiss my bare stomach.

''I love you, Louisa,''he said and I felt myself melt into a giant puddle.

''I love you, too,''I said in between breaths as his warm hands undid my bra and let it fall to the floor. His hands touched my naked body and I knew I wanted this, I wanted him, forever.

The rest of the night was a mush of love, sweat, and two people hopelessly devoting themselves to one another.
