A Ballad for Death

A compilation of the first 500 poems I ever wrote.
I write in my free time accross different styles and themes, sometimes there are reasons to what I write and sometimes there are not, but I always try to follow my inspiration.

241. Skye

She was cold and lonely

Fleeing, in the faint light

Of dawn, her family;

Her heart was full fo fright

As she fled the murder,

A storm followed in tow

– As if a reminder –

Drenching her little frame,

Emotion made her choke:

Was she the one to blame?

Worry not ’bout your folk,

Just fly sweet little crow!
