1. The Beginning

It covered every part I touched, every part it could touch. The dark Crimson painted the aging wood of the abandoned house, and the cracked concrete floor. Coldness creeped up into my bones as I screamed in pain and horror. I couldn't remember how I even ended down in this basement, or why there was someone crying in a corner. The man looked at me with bloody tears streaking down his face. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. This should not have happened." He groaned.

"Help...me." I managed to croak. I tried my best to raise my hand, hoping he would take it and rush me to a hospital. This pain, wherever it was coming from, was excruciating. The man didn't move an inch. He just sat there staring at me, crying those strange tears.

The man screamed in his own pain and clutched his head. He writhed in agony and his back arched. I caught a glimpse of his eyes- they were fully black with a red circle where his pupil is. The sight caused me to scream more. What ever he was, he was not human. "No! No! Why?! I can't die here." He yelled between screams. Minutes passed until he stopped yelling.

He then looked at me and started crawling over. "I won't die. You can help me. You will save me." It didn't seem as if he talking to anyone in particular. His eyes were focused on my blood and I looked down, and knew I shouldn't have. My legs was almost fully torn apart, and my stomach was opened from bite marks. It felt like I was going to pass out from the sight. Or from the loss of blood. "I... Need to eat you. I am going to..." He was whispering to himself. More screams cut him off and I was hoping that he would die. That he won't be able to feed from me.

His screams stopped again and his monster like eyes turned to human ones. They were periwinkle blue and were so sad. "I can't kill you. But I already have. You look so... Broken. I'm sorry." He said and cried some more. "Maybe I can help you. Maybe I can make you live again." He said and then bit into his arm. Black blood pored out and he put it to my mouth. I squirmed and tried to get away but it wouldn't work. Pain caused me to just scream and allow the monsters blood drip down my throat.

It burned all the way to my stomach and it felt like I was being set fire inside out. "You need to feed now. On me. The one who is turning you. It might not fully turn you, it might kill you. But let's hope for the best." He said then he leaned down close to me. Hunger consumed me and I was smelling something amazing. It was like chocolate and something else I couldn't pin point. I moaned and then bit down into his neck. It was surprisingly soft and it tasted so good. I swallowed and bit him again, and again, and again. I couldn't stop. I needed it all. I was so hungry.

"I am giving you my life. I am allowing one of use to live, instead of both of us die. Eat, eat until you are alive." He said and I did as he said. I lost myself in hunger and darkness. I became the monster who he was, I made myself a monster.
