She just came back from summer vacation. She's a normal teenage girl. Two best friends, good grades. Then she sees him, walking the hallways of their school. His brown hair, gelled back, brown woolen vest, black tie, and a white shirt. His glasses placed low on his nose. She watched him push them back, closer to his emerald green eyes. What was it about him? He really outdid the geek stereotype. Or maybe that's just a judgement you would make, if you only knew how he looks and acts. Because what if it just is an act? What if he wasn't a geek the geek you thought he were?

5. Winter Formal

We made our way back to Harry, and saw tons of girls trying to talk to him. Tons of girls trying to talk to... Harry? If anyone told me that this would happen, a week ago, I wouldn't have believed them. But it's happening now. I noticed Harry answering simple questions, but always glancing over to me, and when we made eye contact, his face would be filled with desire for me. I could tell that he liked me. Now the real question is, do I like him?

I approached him, and he pulled away from the crowd.

"Hey everything alright?" He sounded worried like he really cared for me.

"Yeah, everything's great," I answered.

"Okay. Well, do you want to go dance?"

"Yeah," he took my hand and led me out onto the dance floor. Right when we came there, a slow song came on. Harry let go of my hand and places his on my waist, pulling me close. I let myself bring my hands up and interlocking my fingers behind his neck. He looked down at me, since he was much taller. We just stood there for a couple of minutes, staring into each other's eyes. I didn't want this moment to end.

He kept glancing at my lips. Was he going to kiss me? We just stood there. His looking more and more at my lips, but still not moving, other than swaying from side to side, in the rhythm of the song.

When the song came to an end, he still hadn't kissed me. I could read his facial expression: full of regret, for not kissing me.

"So. Do you like it?" He asked.

"Like what?"

"The... change"

"Yeah, I kinda do. Why aren't you like this in school?"

"I don't like the attention," he answered simply.

"Yeah," I agree. "But why do it today then?"

"I wanted to impress you,"

"Okay, well you certainly impressed me," he blushed at my comment. We just stood there, swaying back and forth, in rhythm of the song. He kept looking at my lips once in a while, but when the song ended he still hadn't moved. His face was full of regret that he hasn't kissed me. I thought I didn't have feeling for him, but right at this moment, I was sure of it. I had feelings for Harry Styles.

"Come with me," he says tugging me away from the dance floor.

"Where are we going?" I asked. He didn't answer, but just continues to steer through the crowd of innocent people, grinding up against each other. He leads me outside, while holding my hand. I immediately start to freeze so I wrap my arms around myself to attempt to warm myself. He notices me shivering and takes off his blazer and places it on my shoulders.

"Thanks," I mutter.

"No problem,"

"So why did you bring me out here?"

"I wanted to talk to you," he pauses "in private."

"What is it?"

"Look, ever since I met you, I've always wants to do this," he leans forward and crashes his lips into mine. And oddly I don't pull away. I begin kissing him back. We stood there just kissing until we pulled away from each other to catch our breath. He placed his forehead on mine and we breathe heavily.

"I really like you, Lydia."

"I really like you, too, Harry."

"Does that mean that you'll be my girlfriend?"

"I would love to be your girlfriend." He smiled. I loved that smile. His green eyes seemed to sparkle, just a little more than usual, if that was even possible. His smile reached his eyes, and it was full of happiness.

"Do you wanna go back inside?" He asks, and I nod. It's getting cold out here.
