13. The fight

Peter's p.o.v.:

Sirius and I were playing chess in the Great Hall. I must say, Sirius is surprisingly calm. I thought he'd be super angry. "Check mate." Sirius said eventually; beating me. The Quidditch Captain walked towards us. "Sirius, we're going to discuss the game half an hour before the Match. Can you tell James?" "I... Uhm... I think it's better if you tell him, Hamblin." Sirius stuttered. "Why? You two are best friends for years?" The Captain said and Sirius sighed. "I know, but we're having a fight." Now, it's the Captain's turn to sigh. "I though you were always on the same page? It must be a big deal then, isn't it?" Sirius nodded. "Alright, try to make it up to James before the Match. If that won't work, ignore eachother during the game. I am not going to lose from Slytherin because you two are having a fight. Am I clear?" "Yes, Captain." Sirius replied. He sighed when the Captain left. "Why can't you just skip this one game?" I asked Sirius. "Peter, we're talking about Quidditch. You can't cancel that. Besides, I can't let the team down. They'd never forgive me.

Remus' p.o.v.:

In the Common Room, Lily walked towards us. "Where is your other half, James?" "Lily, please. Leave it." I begged. "Oh, is that a sensitive subject? I see, you're having a fight..." "SHUT UP!" James suddenly yelled. "I don't care what you think right now. Yes, I'm having a fight with Sirius. Like you even care. Go on, then. Tell everybody. Do you really want to know how I think about it? Sirius is a jerk, a fool, blinded by love!" James said loud. No one noticed Sirius and Peter had entered the Common Room, until then. "Oh really? Is that what you think, James? I know I made a huge mistake, but you're also to blame. You know deep down that you would've done the same. Yes, I told my girlfriend a secret I shouldn't have told her, but I don't say bad stuff about my best friend." That was by far the most awkward silence moment the Common Room has known. "So now I'm the bad guy? Really?" "STOP IT! NOW!" The Quidditch Captain suddenly yelled. "Black and Potter, to the dressing room." "No way, he's..." "NOW!"

Hamblin's p.o.v.:

I didn't say a word on our way to the dressing room. It's absolutely necessary that I talk to them now. Sirius might be able to throw a Bludger towards James. Besides, a fight between two players from the same team must always be solved. I closed the door from the dressing room after we entered it. "Give me your wands." The expression on their faces was funny, but I've never been so serious before. I know they're able to hurt eachother when they're both so angry. Slowly, they gave me their wands; surprisingly without any form of protest. "Is that what you call talking?" I asked them; no answer. "Since you clearly can't talk by yourself, you'll have to talk now. What is going?" James became angry again. "No, you don't understand! That's what it's all about. Sirius told Amanda something he, Remus, Peter and I swore we'd never tell." "Amanda?" "My girlfriend." replied Sirius. Someone knocked on the door so I opened it. It were those two friends from James and Sirius. "What do you want?" I asked a bit rude. "Hamblin, please let them in. This is also important for them." said James. I raised my eyebrow but I let them in. "Now, what is so special you all have to swear you won't tell anyone?" "We made this thing... A magical object." One of the boys with his brown hair explained. "A magical object?" I asked curious. "I really can't tell you more." He said and I nodded. "There might be a way to solve the problem because it looks like talking won't work." The four boys turned their head to me. "Obliviate, the Forgetfulness Charm. This spell is powerful enough to erase one specific memory. Because lots of things can go wrong, I'll do it. Well, if you agree ofcourse. Especially you, Sirius." I said and he nodded. After all, we're talking about his girlfriend. "So, if I've done that, you boys are good then?" "Not quiet yet, James called me a jerk. He was talking bad about me while the entire Common Room could hear it!" "Yes, I know. And I'm sorry. I was upset and Lily only made it worse. You know how I feel... what she does. I'm sorry." James said; Sirius hugged him. I gave them their wands and left since they don't need me anymore. Normally, I'd never use a spell on a younger student, but James and Sirius normally don't have a fight like that either. The most important thing is that it's all sorted out. We have a game to win after all.
