Morning Texts☀️|c.h

"Calum will never love you," I told myself, as I brought a blade up to my wrists, slashing freely at it. Although the pain was excruciating, I didn't focus on the physical pain, only the pain in my heart. "Calum will never love you. Calum will never love you."

Hey people of the universe ^-^ just a heads up; but I'm tired of using things like I replied or I sent so I'm just going to use letters corresponding w/ their name, pretty self explanatory.

Sam's POV

The sunlight spilled through my blinds, as I woke up to the sound of my phone chiming. I fluttered my eyes a few times, adjusting to the light. A smile crept itself onto my face whilst I noticed I got a text from Calum.

By now, it was a little after one, and I had just finished getting ready for my date with Calum so I left my house and started to head to the cinemas.

Once I've arrived, I sat down in a small plastic chair and started to scroll through my Instagram feed as I began to wait for Calum.

Minutes have passed when I suddenly heard some say, "Hey."

I looked up from my phone only to notice Calum standing in front of me causing me to jump out of my seat in excitement.

"Hi," I practically shouted, wrapping my arms around him.

"Hey," he repeated, as he hugged me back. "How are you doing?"

"I'm okay, I guess. What about you?"

"Fine. What do you want to watch?"

"I don't know. Anything's cool."

"How about Paranormal Activity 5?"

"Sure."

"Okay, let's go get our tickets and snacks," Calum says, walking toward a station with a large marble counter. Now leaning over it, he adds, "Two tickets for Paranormal Activity 5, please?"

"Of course," the petite, brunette behind the counter says as she taps a few buttons with one hand and slides the tickets over with the other.

"Thank you," Calum says, taking the tickets.

"No problem. That'll be $18.95, please."

I reach into my jean pockets for my wallet to pay, but Calum beats me to it by handing the girl a twenty dollar bill.

"Keep the change," he says, before leading me to another station. This time it had a laminated counter.

"Hi, are you guys ready to order?" A girl with black hair asked, adjusting her glasses a little.

"Umm... Are you ready to order?" Calum asks, turning back to face me.

"I'll just get whatever you do," I peep, shyly.

Why? I honestly don't know. I wasn't usually shy. Especially, when it came to food. I could literally eat an entire truck load of food and still ask for seconds.

"Two orders of chili cheese fries with some bacon, two burgers, nachos with cheese, two sodas, a soft pretzel, and one 10 oz bucket of buttered popcorn, please," Calum ordered.

My mouth started to instantly water just thinking about all this food.

After jotting everything down on a small, purple notepad, the girl behind to counter said, "Coming right up." She walked through a door, leading to the kitchen.

I constantly checked my phone for the time, growing a bit impatient all though it's only been like six minutes.

Finally, the girl came back with a large tray of food and three different cups -- two for drinks and one for popcorn.

She handed the food and cups over, stating, "That will be $38.75."

My eyes widened, as I nearly spit out my non-existing drink. I looked to my side and noticed Calum pulling out his money.

No way am I letting him pay for all of this. Sure, it was nice and all, but overall he would've spent over half a hundred dollars!

"I got it," I blurted, as Calum counted his money.

"No, I want to," Calum pouted like a big baby.

"Too late," I said, slamming four 10 dollar bills on the counter. "Ha!"

I mentally slapped myself.

Ha? Oh geez. Why am I getting so nervous? Is it just hot in here or is it just me? Gosh, I probably look like a fool. Man, I'm even talking to myself. You know what? Just play cool. Don't act nervous. Be calm.

"Are you okay?" Calum asks, concern flashing in his eyes.

"Uhm, y-yeah," I stutter. "...Just fine."

"Okay," Calum says, now entering the theater which I hadn't even realized we've walked to with all my prolix thoughts.

The light started to fade away as we walked further and further into the theater.
