3. ~Chapter 3~

45 minutes felt like hours! I was glad to get out of there. I looked down at my schedule and saw next I have math. I looked around for Jess but I didn't see her. She probably already went to her next class. I walked up and down the halls trying to find my math class. I really wish Jess were here, she would probably know where it is. They couldn't have given me a tour of the school? The bell rang after 2 minutes and I ran down the hall and made a sharp turn running into someone.
"Julia?" The person asked helping me up.
"Jess!" I exclaimed happy to see her.
"Hey, you having trouble finding your next class?" She asked.
"Yea" I said and she took my schedule.
"Right this way" She said and turned around.
I followed as she ran up the stairs, made a right, and slowing down, walked down the hallway to a classroom.
"Thanks! How do you know exactly where to go?" I asked.
"I used to have this class until my schedule changed, now I have it for 1st period, so I just left before I found you" She said.
"Oh, okay well I'll see you later!" I said and walked in the classroom as she ran back downstairs to hers.
"Well you must be...Julia" The teacher said as she looked up from the paper that had my name on it.
I nodded my head.
"I am Mrs. Kelly" She said.
I smiled and waited for her to tell me where to sit.
"You can go sit, over there next to Robert" She said.
There is only one seat open so I'm guessing this is Robert since the empty seat is in the corner and there's only one guy there. He smiled as I sat down.
"What's your name?" He asked.
Great. Another one of these guys. Well this time I refuse to get in trouble! I kept my head straight and ignored him.
"Oh... I get it... you don't like to talk in class" He whispered.
I didn't drop my gaze just mentally rolled my eyes since he was still trying to talk to me.
"Robert, if you are going to talk to Julia, you are going to say it in front of the class or not say it at all" Mrs. Kelly said firmly.
"Sorry Miss, just trying to be nice and ask her, her name, but since you said it, I don't need to say anymore... continue" He said with a grin at the end.
So he's one of those guys. He thinks he's funny and cute. Especially with teachers, if he gets in trouble, he brushes it off like nothing but he'll keep doing it, and will never learn.
I might sound very judgmental but i'm not, I'm just trying to be careful in who I choose as friends. It's important because I don't want to get mixed in with the wrong crowd! If people were more like Jess, I'd have a lot more friends! But they aren't so I'm going to be careful! I need friends that I can trust, ones that got my back, and ones that I can tell them everything!
For a while Robert kept nudging me and whispering to look but I kept on ignoring him. Why did I pick this school? Why? So far all I've sat next to are annoying, immature, boys! I'll see how the rest of the day goes because I'm pretty sure this is the only school in Texas that has a free daycare center! Maybe i'll just have to deal with it, I am a senior, so it'll be over soon.
