After paying he taxi driver Jasmine crossed the road and knocked on the door. She heard Gerry rushing down to open the door.

“Wow! You look amazing; come up.

She walked up to the studio where two canvases were on display. The first was a portrait of her by the window looking out at the castle and the sea. The second painting saw her turned side ways on with her halter neck covering her left breast.

Her black hair shined like it had a life all its own. What do you think then as he took up his pad and began sketching again?

“Sorry he said I’ve got to get this down. Turning she gave him a sexy smile.

“My God, do that again.”

“Do what?

“That, that smile you just give me.

She smiled again then came towards him and they kissed.

Come on I have a surprise for you.

He led her out of the studio then over the road to the castle.

“Where are we going Gerry?

“You’ll see. Gerry unlocked an iron gate then flicked a switch and the whole castle was illuminated. “Do you like it? The caretaker is a friend of mine and he said we could have a look around.

Gerry took Jasmine by the hand and showed her the monastery and the castle.

She went to the cliff edge and looked out to sea. Gerry was watching her and framing every moment in his mind.

“It’s beautiful Gerry, thank you.”

“Now Miss; what is your surname anyway?

“Fernandez.”

“Gerry was silent for a while before he said; is your father Antony Fernandez the multi millionaire?

“Does it matter who my father is Gerry?

“Not to me but it may your father once he finds out you are seeing a starving artist.

“Torrent and Picasso were also starving artists to begin with but look at how much their paintings a worth today.”

“I’m no Picasso Jasmine.

“You have a gift Gerry and with the right contacts you could make a breakthrough and a lot of money.

“Have you ever exhibited your work?

“I have never even sold a painting.”

Gerry locked the gate to the castle then led Jasmine down the street.

“Where are we going now?

“I am taking you to my favourite restaurant.”

“Where is it?

“It’s just around this corner.”
