May Fletcher, 18 year old high school graduate from North Dakota. Not a huge fan of boybands, ESPECIALLY 5 Seconds of Summer. Sure, she thinks they're cute, and that they have good music. But it's just something about them that she completely despises. Maybe it's the fact that they are famous? Whatever it is, she just does not like them.
But her little sister, Evelyn Fletcher, 12 years old, is totally IN LOVE with them.
When Evelyn gets two tickets to a meet and greet for 5 Seconds of Summer, it is May's job to take her.
Somehow they get special entry, and when Calum Hood takes one look at May, he falls in love. He tries flirting with her, but she wasn't having it. Playing hard to get, aren't we May?
But things take a turn for the best (for Calum) when he 'accidentally' switches phones with May. This meaning that they will have to meet again, and he will have another chance to win her heart.
Will she fall for Calum as hard as he fell for her? Find out in 'Swap.'

1. Chapter 1: Surprise!

My name is May Fletcher. I am 18 years old, a high school graduate, and I live in North Dakota.

My family isn't huge. I live with my 12 year old little sister, Evelyn, and my parents.

My parents are always away on business trips, and Evelyn spends most of her time with her best friend, Jamie Lee. So I spend most of my time either home alone, with my best friend Amanda Dale, on my computer taking online college courses, or working at Starbucks.

I love music, all types of it. But there is one type of music that I don't like, and that's the kind sung by boy bands.

Don't get me wrong, I think boy bands are super cute, and they produce great music and all, but I just don't like them.

I mean, they always have teen girls swooning all over them, it's disgusting. I don't want to get involved in that kind of stuff.

You know, if I had to choose one boy band in particular that I don't like the most, it would have to be 5 Seconds of Summer. And the only reason being, is because my sister likes them.

Now, if Evelyn just liked them, I'd be fine with their little group, but she is literally obsessed with them. She has an entire wall in her room dedicated to just Luke. It honesty creeps me out.

Speaking of the Lover-of-Luke, she is knocking on my bedroom door as I speak.

I got up from my bean-bag chair and walked over to my door, swinging it open. Evelyn was standing on the other side, bouncing up and down.

"What do you want, Eve?" I asked, leaning on the door frame. "Mom and dad are home from Texas!" She squealed while running away.

I ran after her down the stairs, only to be met by my smiling parents. I threw myself into their open arms, squeezing them both.

"Welcome home!" I exclaimed, stepping away from them. "How was Texas?" I asked.

"It was great! We got to meet this amazing woman who is 110 years old! She was around when the first car was invented!" My mom said. I smiled, I always love hearing the stories my parents bring home from their trips.

"So, girls..." My dad started, clapping his hands together. "Your mom and I have both good news and bad news. Which would you like to hear first?" He asked us.

Evelyn and I looked at each other, then back at our dad. "The bad news." We said in unison.

"Alright, so we are leaving for another business trip tomorrow. Except this time, we are going to California. This trip is going to take a bit longer than our normal ones do. We'll be gone for 10 days this time." He said, furrowing his eyebrows.

"But you guys just got home." Evelyn wined. "We know Eve...but we can't miss this opportunity." My mom said. "But we've still got the good news! We know that you girls will be alone for awhile, so we got you both something that will keep you slightly busy..."

As my mom was talking, my dad walked outside and came back inside moments later with a medium sized box in his hands.

"May, you can open yours first." My mom smiled, pointing towards the box.

I carefully opened the flaps of the box and looked inside, only to see a tiny black and white kitten staring right back at me.

"Awhh!" I squealed while picking up the little thing. "Is it a boy or a girl?" I asked while scratching its chin.

"It's a girl, and she's yours to keep!" My dad smiled. "Awh. I'm going to name you Delilah!" I said while tapping the kitten's nose. "Thank you guys so much!" I exclaimed. "You are very welcome. By the way, everything Delilah needs is already set up in the laundry room. The only thing you have to do is change out her litter box, and buy her some food every now and then. Sound good?" My mom asked. I nodded my head.

"Alright...Evelyn, you ready for your gift?" My mom asked Eve.

Evelyn nodded her enthusiastically. "Okay, brace yourself." Suddenly my dad whipped two tickets out from behind his back and handed them to my sister.

Evelyn quickly took them and read them over. Seconds later she was screaming at the top of her lungs, causing me to flinch.

"You guys got me 5 Seconds of Summer meet and greet tickets?! Oh my goodness, I love you guys so much! I can't believe I get to meet my idols! Oh my... this is not okay. I finally get to meet Luke! Oh man, I can't breathe, holy crap, okay. I'm alright...nope, no I'm not."

As Evelyn continued to hyperventilate, I walked over to my dad and stood next to him. "So who's the other ticket for?" I asked, crossing my arms. "You, of course. Someone has to drive her there." He replied in a 'duh' tone.

"Wait, me? But I don't even like 5 Seconds of Summer!" "I know, May, but all you have to do is bring Evelyn to the event, which by the way is the day after tomorrow. You don't even have to talk to the boys when you get there." My dad laughed.

"Hold on, the day after tomorrow? I have to work that day." "No problem. Just leave when you're done working. Shouldn't be that big of a deal. You guys will have fun together, a little sister time, you know? Don't worry about it!"

Before I could protest any further, my dad had walked off into the kitchen.

I sighed while lifting Delilah up to my face. "Can you believe these people?"
