She held onto the good times that she and Albert had when they went to Sea Houses to stay on a caravan site when they got married. They were always together then hand in hand they walked along the beach. They ate chips out of newspaper and played in the arcade.

In the evening they went to the site entertainment where they danced the night away before coming back to the caravan and making love.

Things changed when Billy her first child came on the scene

Albert withdrew himself from her and would only make love to her on a Friday night after a skin full with his fishing friends.

Then she got pregnant again and Alan came along it was only a year later that John was born and the void between them widened even more.

She was lucky that she had still kept her figure after the children were born. It wasn’t as if she didn’t make the most of herself because she always made an effort to look nice for him.

She opened the heart shaped gold locket that she wore around her neck to reveal a photo of Albert and her that they had got taken on their honeymoon.

She smiled then closed the locket.
