A poem about the destruction of nature.

1. <><><><>

Sparkle Shine,

Polished Pine.

 Once alive

So big and tall

But they came along

And forced it to fall.

Cut and shaped

Burnt and reshaped

All the beauty

Has now escaped.

Place your coasters

And then your cups

Place them upon

Its polished cuts.

Its so broken

And brused

But its now a place

To put your news.

It used to be a home

For creatures big and small

But in your house

Its home to nothing at all.

Nothing but ingrained food

And permanent coffee stains

This beautiful tree

That you had slain.
