(I recommend anything beyond 'Tumbling Ash' for the rest is a mess of nonsense words that hold no character, no story and absently fill the page)

35. Stressful Children

So today,

I was set the task

(alongside my sister)

to look after

my younger brother

and another

little boy.

Simple?

Just take them to

the park.

Play for a bit,

run around,

then return home for dinner.

How easy.

How horrifying.

They decide to swerve

about on scooters,

bee-lining towards

parked cars then

turning fast just before

collision.

Running into roads

and falling down hills,

screaming with laughter

at the pain

of

one another.

I already felt

stressed,

but the feeling of

panic attacks became far too

intense.

How could they be so

care-free?

Ignorant of cars,

of roads,

of everything that could hurt them?

On the arrival of home,

they asked to

visit after dinner.

I stupidly agreed,

because their voices are so shrill

and loud,

that I felt the parents needed a

break.

My sister bought her

IPad

and this time we went to an

area filled with

lush green grass,

further from busy roads.

Away from cars.

No scooters.

Just feet.

I took some pictures,

which I must say I am proud of,

and let the feeling of

stress

go.
