3. Frikadelle vs. Frikandel

A frikadelle is a sort of meat ball often served in Danish homes. It contains egg, milk, traditionally pork or beef or a mix of the two, flour and onions. A frikandel, on the other hand, is a traditionally Dutch thing, and the weak pronunciation of the n makes the words seem similar. But a frikandel is also some sort of meat which is shaped into a long, sausage-like shape and deep fried.
