Across The Rainbow

A short-story about two sisters on a trip with their parents.

9. A Picnic

It was easy for dad to follow our traces, and soon he reached the cliff.
He stopped for a second, to enjoy the beautiful view. Then he bend down, and rattled our shoulders. Our eyes openede wide up, and got filled with confusion, as we saw dad standing there, with a large smile on his face.
"Morning girls", he laughed, and helped us up.
"What a great place you've found! We should've eaten our lunch here instead."
He took one last look from the cliff. He took our hands, turned around, and began telling us about all the delicious food, mom had prepared for us.
