A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (May 2015-August 2018)
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

Work Experience - Day 1

So as I've mentioned in one of my other entries I have my work experience this week at a local research company which I have been under since I was little. On paper it sounded amazing, researching nutrition and dietary information which would aid in dissertations and future essays, attending seminars, and transcribing interviews. It seemed so much better than some of my friends work experience which ranged from accounting firms to garages.

But it did not meet my expectations. Fair enough, there's not a lot that's gonna be trusted to a couple of 17 year olds but I had a nightmare today. First I got lost getting to the place and so I was late, nobody knew where it was so I wandered around the local Medical School for a while. Then for seven hours I filled out a spreadsheet - that's all I've done, replacing and inputting numbers. I have never been more bored in my life. The highlight of my day was when a Chinese woman talked to me in the bathroom and when I got to make cups of teas for myself on demand.

I hope it gets better during the week, god I hope so, especially since in that small office I think I was baking alive in the sweltering heat. (I'm British I'm allowed to complain about the weather!)

Now, I'm eating strawberry cheesecake to make the day just a bit better.

- First of all I didn't get that job that I wanted but I'm still looking and keeping my hopes up. I'll admit that I'm a bit disappointed since it was my dream job and I tried my best but life isn't always fair.

I sort of went on a date with my crush? It was never specified what it was but we walked to the local cinema, had dinner at a pizza place and watched Wonder Woman which was absolutely brilliant. All the way through we were quite close and we laughed with each other at the film. Then we stole some balloons and he walked me home. I would say that it was a success and although nothing really happened, I have hope that something may happen in the future.
