A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (May 2015-August 2018)
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

84. The wheels on the writing bus go round and round.

29th October 2015

When on public transport you can hear some strange things;

“Oh my god, that boy was so hot! He had eyelashes!” “I’m not paying for it; let’s go to Debenhams and buy something expensive!” “Should I eat Elsa’s eye next mummy?”

That last one came from a kid with a Frozen advent calendar. Yeah, don’t ask.  I think on bus journey’s people just don’t realise that there are other people surrounding them, or they just don’t care either way. It’s probably the second one to be fair. Maybe the Halloween spirit brings out the creepy and unusual things about people. Speaking of Halloween, I could hear a conversation on whether the teenager should go as Mario or Pikachu, and not in the respectable sense but in the more revealing sense. That killed my gaming childhood.

Speaking of teenagers – is every teenager girl stuck in the crop top, leggings, leather jacket and converse trend. If you are one of those people, you may want to stop reading because this is a rant.

Let’s go!

Are their ankles not cold from their rolled up jeans or leggings, I was freezing and wearing three layers.

Are their stomachs not cold?

Can they think outside of the box when thinking of outfits? It’s okay to dress the same as your best friends some times, but every time and for everyone? Yeah, that’s going too far.

Rant over.

That was okay, wasn’t it?

Not too offensive.

I’m a teenager myself so that might have offended my own generation. And now that reminds me of being an old woman.

On a total different conversation November is going to be busy what with Nanowrimo, trips away, award ceremonies and various appointments. I’ve done a bit of planning for Nanowrimo but I feel confident that it’s better in my head stored in various boxes than on a page. I can visualize it better that way. I slept in for an hour and hallelujah I had a dream about a story idea that fixed one of my problems of not knowing how to further develop my story into the final stages. I now know how to create more depth for my beginning and for my end. Thank you brain for sleeping in!
