A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (May 2015-August 2018)
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

8. The Fruit of Boredom

Entry: 8/?

Subject: The fruit of boredom.

Tip/advice: #8 Diaries are an excellent source of productivity; it is the killer of boredom and a great stress reliever.

Boredom. It is the art of death; a silent killer. It is like an old couch; getting worse as time progresses.

But it is also a time when the best inspiration can strike.

In maths, my best teacher (Mr. Farthing) is off for paternity leave (his wife had a baby boy on Saturday, congratulations to him) and although we all send our regards to him, we all can’t wait for him to come back! In his time away we had another teacher and I cannot learn a damn thing. She has this attitude where she just tells us what to do, leaves and then expects it all to be done by the time she gets back at the end of the lesson. I can’t work like that! I mean, Mr. Farthing always makes sure that we know what we have to do and is there to help whenever we need it and it is so frustrating when I go into a lesson I enjoy and thrive out only to be frustrated with something I haven’t been learnt or taught to do.

So, for the first time in a long time, I was bored in maths.

In order to beat my boredom I and my friends drew. Now, the fun thing about me is that when I am given an hour to draw something, I can draw something excellent but when I’m given 5 minutes? Yeah, I can’t draw to save my life. I like my cow the best, it looks like a rabid beast with paths and ears. My friend, drew a ‘Buddha with an Udder’ to show off her drawing skills as well. I can tell you that we had a really good laugh. One of those, where you cannot stop laughing to save your life. We still got we needed done which satisfied the she devil of a teacher but we had a laugh while being frustrated.

If you are ever bored, draw, write or dance. Move about and be productive! Kill that sucker!
