A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (May 2015-August 2018)
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

118. The Best Day Ending The Worst Week

11th September 2016

How is it September already?

Anyway, I started back at school this week. It was alright, but utterly pointless to actual education. I would have loved to be shown around the college and given timetables, tutors and stuff of that like, but no. Instead, I was subjected to learning about how to use Google Calendar, hooking up to a school Wi-Fi that didn’t even work to begin with, and sitting for five hours straight listening to a motivational speaker.

It didn’t help that I ended the week rather badly, my shoes kept flopping and coming off, I felt weird in formal clothes when I usually dress casual and I had to trudge a gigantic folder home which made me get stuck in the door and then trip over it.

After the dreadful Thursday and Friday, I vowed that my weekend would be better.

On Saturday – yesterday – I unlocked a new experience; trying different types of tea. I’m a tea lover, but I’ve always stuck to breakfast tea and some of the flavoured tea’s I’ve tried just taste like hot water with additives in them. I was a bit reluctant but I ended up trying two types of chai tea, vanilla and chai latte. The vanilla one was spicy with a hint of vanilla near the end of the gulp and the chai latte was sweet, so sweet in fact that it reminded me of ready brek, if you don’t know what that means it’s a kind of porridge.

Today though has been the best of the week, but I think that’s been because I haven’t spent it at school and I’ve spent it with my family. I cheered on my sister who completed the Great North Run for the fourth year in a row, after she finished just under three hours. That is despite her slipped disk earlier this year. My brother and his fiancé set a date for their wedding next year just before 2017 ends, in a nice vintage barn. Plus I ended it with a few hours drinking tea and watching monkey TV shows with my Grandma. Ooh, I also entered an art competition with character art from Trudi Canavan’s Black Magician series. I think weekends spent with family and friends are the best.

Next week will go better though, I know it will.
