A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (May 2015-August 2018)
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

37. Patience is for nought

Subject: Patience is for nought

It is a common fact that I am not patient – it is not one of my virtues and it is certainly something that I can sometimes do, but most often cannot. Today, I has been a whole load of impatience and waiting and waiting and waiting.

It started this morning when I woke up feeling like I hadn’t slept a wink and I just wanted to go to school and come back as soon as I could, to curl myself back into bed and into glorious sleep. Alas, it didn’t work out that way. Fate, didn’t want the day to go like that. Each hour lesson dragged on so much that each minute felt like a whole day and the ticking of the clock was like a pounding in my head. It did not help one bit that my best friend had to be annoying, claiming that she was right and always right and I was wrong. Uhgg. Complicated maths equations that required the whole squared page to solve did not exactly help either. And finally when the final bell went stupid year sevens had to be idiots and shove and push everyone in order to reach the checked flag – otherwise known as the gates – and escape hell.

Even after all of that I accompanied my Grandma to the doctors and the monster known as impatience reared again. Appointments should be met. That is a simple fact in my book. You should not have to wait around for ages while people who came in after you get seen to before you. The ladies on opposite ends of the room shouting over to each other about plants, fashion and jail did not serve to tame the wild animal in any way what so ever. Do not even ask me how those three topics were even related because I sure do not want to know.

My legs weren’t fast enough so it took me half an hour to walk a ten minute journey home. The shower ran cold and wouldn’t heat up for ages and the cooker stopped working and I had to wait for my food.

Impatience is a monster that kicked my butt today. I don’t know when it’s going to make an appearance next but I need my bed and I need sleep maybe that will satisfy the beast for a while.
