A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (May 2015-August 2018)
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

90. A whole world unified in pray

15th November 2015

Two days ago on Friday the 13th, which is just ironic in my opinion, the world lost 115,200 souls. This is from the terrorist attacks in Paris to the Earthquake in Japan.

France turned their lights off as a sign of mourning for the 100+ people who died and the world turned them on again by lighting their iconic structures with the flags colours.

Social media has changed profile pictures to match.

But I’m not doing that. Do you want to know why?

Because I don’t want to just pray for Paris I want to pray for those 115,200 souls who died across the world that day. If I were to honour every soul in every country it would change too often to count. So I’m going to honour them in my own way.

I hope that all of those souls rest in peace, I hope that they have found a better life than the one they have just left.

My country is terrified because of our close proximity to France, we could have let Isis in already and they could already be planning an attack anywhere in the country. But I’m trying not to be afraid, I’m trying to be courageous. The goal of terrorism is to make the enemy afraid, which is why the word terror is in its name, so by being afraid we are mentally allowing them to win. I don’t want them to win, I don’t think anyone does.

What terrorists do is inhumane, they do not have a religion to follow because what God would want them to kill in the vast quantities that they do? I do not blame Muslims or any other religion as a whole because not all of them are part of terrorist groups, they are as innocent as the rest of us are, mourning their losses as we are.

But we have to think about this, in retaliation of this threat the countries of the west will unify and probably kill many more innocents in the eastern countries. We cannot make rash and unplanned ideas because if we do and kill so many innocents we will sink to the level that terrorists occupy.

Two days ago was a day that will be remembered because of its nightmarish results.

But despite this nightmare terror the world stands unified in pray. That makes me proud of this planet and all of its inhabitants.
