Something Wicked This Way Comes *ON HOLD*

Emmeline Walker was a normal girl who had no worries going to school with her best friend Georgie. She had loving parents and doting brothers, everything a girl could want. Then comes along the virus. People are dead and dying all over the world, and the world seems to end when Emmeline catches the virus and blacks out. When she wakes up, however, in a new world where the dead never really died, she learns that the virus wasn't the end of anything, but the beginning in a new world of horror.

This is a story about zombies, beware. :)

2. Naked Butts (Edited)

~~There was a dripping sound somewhere, something similar to what water from a leaky faucet would make. I scrunched my eyebrows, irritation flooding through me that it didn't go away after a little bit. Who was in the bathroom right now? Probably that brat of a brother of mine. Jasper was never good at turning things off, especially when it came to the sink or lights. I sat up slowly and brought my hands to my eyes, rubbing the heavy sleep from them. I felt a tugging on both my arms and looked down to see needles imbedded in my skin.

My sleep filled mind followed the needle and small tube up to a dried out plastic bag hanging from a metal rack thing. I blinked and my gaze sharpened as I fully registered that it was an IV stand.

I looked around the room I was in and shuddered, my heart clenching when I realized I was in a hospital room. Memories flooded through me and I felt my shoulders shake in relief with the realization that I hadn't died. I had survived and the doctors had saved me somehow. I looked around, taking notice of my surroundings. A  window with tightly drawn curtains was to my right, a table with dead flowers on it right below.

Two couches and a chair were to my left, it being a small sitting area. A black TV lay above me near the ceiling, and a door with a blacked out window was just below that.

I looked down to my arms and slowly pulled the needles out, wincing as my skin pulled with the medical tape. Surely if the bag hadn't been replaced yet it would be okay for me to take it out.

A particularly stubborn needle stuck and I yanked on it.

"Ow! Fuckin' a!" I hissed out.

I dabbed at the blood with my medical gown, about to get up to find a tissue, when the blood froze on my skin. Not literally but the flow just stopped so suddenly it looked like time had been stopped. I touched the small puncture and felt my eyes widened when it completely disappeared.

Well. Obviously I was pretty damn healthy now if I could heal that fast.

I slowly sat up, removing the blankets to slide my feet over the edge. I pushed myself off the bed and my feet hit the cold tile floor with a small thump. My eyes widened when my legs gave out and I fell forward, my hands catching me seconds before smashing my nose on the floor.

I lay there, my breathing labored as I thought of what to do.

I shivered and I realized the hospital gown I was wearing didn't have a back, leaving my rear end exposed for anyone to view.

"Fantastic." I muttered, thoroughly embarrassed.

I tried to sit up again, but found I was kinda helpless when my jelly legs flopped around like two dead fish. Obviously I had been incognito for quite awhile if my muscles seemed to be almost non-existent.

I grunted. "Hellooooo!!!" I called out. Obviously I needed a nurse, seeing as I was not in control of my body what-so-ever.

I waited but there was only silence. I called again. More waiting. No answer.

I sighed. Looking over my shoulder, I used my arms to turn myself around and to pull myself forward so I could use the bed as a lever to pull myself up. I managed to do so after a few tries, but by the end I had only made it halfway, my upper body on the bed, my lower half hanging down.

I snickered. I knew a guy who'd have loved to find me like that. I giggled and pulled myself up the rest of the way, a small smile on my face. Daniel was one of the biggest perverts around, but he was extremely funny and I honestly adored him.

I wondered, where was he now?

When I managed to get all the way up, my eyes lighted on the nurse call button and my hands quickly fumbled for it. I buzzed twice, my hands shaking, but heard nothing. Again.

"Wow, this place is terrible." If I ever got hurt again, you'd bet your ass I wouldn't stay here. I buzzed a third time and after waiting for just about forever, gave up and tossed the thing away from me.

I lay there, gazing at the ceiling. What to do?

Either the place was extremely busy or they were understaffed, but either way, this place still sucked. Normally I was understanding to the point of stupid, but I was hungry and thoroughly irritated so my patience was hanging by a thread.

Time passed and though there was nothing to do, and even after turning the TV on only to find it with no signal, I  started worked on my legs. I hated to be sitting around and the urge to move was unbearable. I lost track of time as I stretched, my old flexibility from years of being a gymnast coming back to me as I stretched out the kinks. I then switched to small hops and jumping jacks when I could finally stand again and I spent hours running in place and around the room. By the time it was dark, I was ravenous and completely fed up with this 'hospital'. I buzzed the buzzer in a quick succession, finally throwing the buzzer down to the floor in anger when, once again, there was no answer.

I went to the door and grabbed the handle and pulled, determined to find myself food even if I had to walk around, my ass in full view. I pulled and my eyes narrowed when it stood firm; locked.

"Oh. come. ON!" I yelled. Are you kidding me?

I pulled harder but was dismayed when the door refused to budge.

It was at that point where a sudden exhaustion filled me and I stumbled back to the bed, my heart slowing down to a complete calmness and my eyelids fluttering closed. I barely had time to make it back to the bed before I slumped over unconscious.
