Dear Diary.

I know my thoughts are taking over when I start to say them out loud.

I whisper them to myself. And when I start to do that there's no way to stop it again. Only by writing. So that's what I'm doing now.

I found a lower the volume of them. I take a deep breath, and start to explain to myself what I'm doing right that second.

That helps a little bit.

Especially the breathing. It makes me calm down, and it gives me just a little bit of control again.

My thoughts are worst at night. At night there's nothing I can distract myself with. I can keep myself awake for hours. It feels like my head is going to explode.

But I just have to keep breathing.
