The Walls Have Eyes (Diary)

This is a very, very bad idea

8. May 12th, 2015

Would you look at that? It's eighteen minutes to midnight. Hooray!

There isn't much to tell you about today, and I'm going to attempt to be inspirational - but let's get some things out of the way.

•I watched all the cutscenes for Mortal Kombat X - and I loved it. Some gamers didn't think it was that great, but, eh - I'll always love Mortal Kombat.

•I'm watching PewDiePie play Amnesia: The Dark Descent - and, my God, he sounds different.

•I haven't watched a full part-by-part walkthrough since the Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and that was some time last year I think.

•I watched the trailer for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - and OH MY GOD I AM ALREADY SO FREAKING EXCITED AND IT WON'T EVEN BE OUT FOR AT LEAST FIVE MORE MONTHS (or something).

•New games like The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt and Uncharted 4 are coming out this year too

Pro: All these things help me relax and give me something to look forward to.

Con: All these things really limit my writing time.

That said, I think I should mention - I did get that Audio Recording I wrote about in yesterday's entry done, so, you know: progress! I'm on the last leg of Loved Ones. I am counting on myself not to give up.

(Do it for Vaas, self. Do it for Vaas.)

My day, in general, has been boring. I did have caffeine today and it made me feel good. But, come on, it was vanilla coke! VANILLA COKE (Cola. Coca Cola. Not the coke you're thinking about) YOU GUYS. I couldn't help it. A lot of you probably wouldn't like it, but I had that cola flavour as a kid before it was taken off the shelves. And now that they've reissued it, I had to try some. You don't need to tell me: I know I'm late. Tomorrow my limit will be one cup of tea/caffeine drink. And if I break it...

I'm going to be up another night.

Pipsqueak's gotten over his temperature, thankfully, and I haven't heard anything about Hathon. Everyone's avoiding us, which makes me feel just... great inside.

But I don't want to talk about my family right now.

And... it's midnight. Great.

I'll continue in tomorrow/today/the next diary entry.
