1. Chapter 1

"Leave me alone." I put my face in my pillow and sob. "Go away."

"I said I was sorry. Damn!" Chase yells from outside the dorm.

"Sorry doesn't fix the fact that you cheated on me!" I yell back and continue to cry.

"Fine. I fucking give up!" He says and I hear him walk away from the door.

I wipe my eyes and my mascara ends up on my hand. I could care less though. He freaking cheated on me with my best friend.

EeewwwpnAfter a few more minutes of crying I hear a gentle knock at the door.huyp

"Go away." I groan. It's probably Chase. I will not forgive him, not this time.

"It's Harry." A different voice says. "Can I come in?"

Why can't everyone just leave me alone? When I'm upset I just want to be alone, it's not hard to understand.

"Fine." I sigh. The door slowly opens and he peeks in.

"Are you okay?" Harry asks. "I can go if you want?"

I don't want to be rude, even if I do want to be alone. "I'm fine, you can stay."

He comes in and shuts the door. "You were yelling for a while, I thought you'd need someone to comfort you."

"Thanks." I sit up and put the pillow down. He sits next to me and he looks at me for a second.

"I know, my makeup looks terrible." I wipe my eyes and look down at the pillow on my lap.

"I wasn't looking at your makeup." He says quietly. "Your eyes are red, though."

"I know." I sigh and I try to avoid rubbing my eyes. It'll make it worse.

"Do you need anything?" He asks. "You seem pretty upset."

"No. I'm fine. Thanks."

He looks around the room and then back at me. This is a little awkward. Harry and I aren't that close.

More tears stream down my cheeks and I try to wipe them away. It doesn't work, they just make my face shiny and wet.

"Sorry for crying so much." I apologize and try my best to wipe my eyes. It only makes my makeup smear even more.

"You didn't do anything wrong. Why are you apologizing?" He looks at me intently.

"I don't know." I shake my head. "It's a habit."

"Oh." He says and gets quiet. "If you don't mind me asking, why were you and Chase fighting?"

"He cheated on m-me." I start to cry again and my forehead feels like it's burning.

"Oh my god." Harry wraps his arms around me tightly. "I'm so sorry."

"It's okay. I'm okay." I hold in my tears. I will not have an emotional breakdown in front of him. It would be weird.

"Stop saying that." He rubs my back softly. "I know you aren't okay."

I sob. I have no idea how he knows this stuff. After all, we never talk that much but it seems like he knows me on an emotional level.

"I'm not okay at all." I admit. "How could he cheat on me with my best friend? I was in the other room and he didn't even think about how it would effect me. I hate him."

I bury my head in his shoulder and cry softly. "This type of stuff always happens to me."

"You'll be okay, Ellie." He says. "I promise you, it will get better."

"It will?" I lift my head up and my vision is blurry because of the tears.

"Yes, I promise." He nods and looks around for a second before returning his focus back to me.

"Thanks Harry." I say and blink away more tears.

He reaches up and wipes away my tears with his thumb. "Don't cry."

"I wish I could just stop being sad." I sob quietly.

Our eyes meet and it's strange for a second but then it's kind of... Normal.

A tear fell down my cheek and he wiped it away. "Please stop crying."

I nod and continue to look at his face and his hair. His hair is almost to his shoulders and he smells like Armani cologne. It's actually quite nice.

My eyes were kind of dry but I still felt hot. I hate how when I cry too much I end up sick or with a fever.

"Thanks for being so nice, Harry." I whisper. It's funny how people you barely know can be nicer than the people you do.

Harry and I didn't talk that much because we don't have class together that often. We only know each other because of small talk outside of our dorms. The university was pretty big, and we shared a hall wisth 3 other people.

"You don't have to thank me." He says. "I just don't want you to be upset."

"I have a question." I look around the room before turning back to him.

"You can ask me anything." He says.

"Why can't all men be like you."

"If all men were like me then the human race couldn't survive." He grins a little bit. "I'm not exactly attractive, if you know what I mean."

"You're attractive." I say without thinking and I want to take back the words as soon as I say them.

"Oh." His little grin gets bigger and he looks the other way. His cheeks were getting a little pink. "Uh, thanks."

"Sorry. I made it awkward." I lift my head off of his shoulder and scoot over.

"It's fine." He still has a big grin on his face. "I think you're attractive as well."

"Thank you." I feel my face get warmer. Not because of the crying, I was literally blushing. I'm positive I look like a tomato. But apparently I'm one attractive tomato to Harry.

"I should go." He says. "Unless you need me to stay."

"Um. You can go if you want, it doesn't really matter." I shrug.

"Yeah, I have homework so I'll just go do that." He stands up and walks to the door. "Bye Ellie." He says before opening the door.

"Bye Harry." I say and watch as he leaves. I have no idea why, but I really wish he would've said something.

I pull the duvet over me and I try to get some sleep. At least tomorrow is Saturday and I don't have to worry about anything.

Soon enough I'm fast asleep and for some reason, I can't stop thinking of Harry.

When I wake up it's like I've been hit with feelings. I had a really weird dream, Harry was there and now I somehow developed feelings toward him. This is really weird, I barely know him.

I get out of bed and walk to my little closet. I find some clothes to wear, just a white, baggy, T-shirt and black jeans. I'm not doing anything special today so it doesn't matter. I put on a white beanie because it'll probably be cold.

Every day I always put on makeup because without it, I look like that teacher from Jimmy Neutron. It's just eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick. I don't wear foundation or concealer or stuff like that.

When I get dressed and my makeup is done, I decide to run down to Starbucks. Without coffee in the morning I'm really grumpy. It's a necessity.

I grab my purse and head out. As I walk down the hall my boots make a clicking noise and it was quite loud. By the time I get downstairs and out of the dormitory I've already given myself a headache.

Starbucks is about a block away so I just walk. I need the exercise anyway. It was a little cold out and I didn't bring my jacket. Oh well, in just going inside Starbucks anyway.

The walk is short and frustrating because every second I just get colder. When I finally get to Starbucks I go inside and the warm air is a relief.

"What can I get you?" The cashier asks.

"Iced Caffè Mocha, please." I tell her.

"It'll be done in a second." She says and I pay for it then sit down in one of the booths. I was the only person here. Well, it was early.

I get my phone out and I had received 13 messages from Chase in the last hour. All of them saying that he's sorry and didn't mean it. I ignore them all and go on my Instagram.

The funny thing being that I have a notification, Harry_Styles has started following you. I follow him back and then find myself snooping through his pictures. It's not weird, is it? No. It's totally normal.

"Ellie." The cashier says and I put my phone in my pocket and walk up to the counter.

She hands it to me and I thank her before being seated again.

The bell on the door went off, someone must have came in. I was too busy looking through Harry's Instagram. OH MY GOD I FEEL SO CREEPY.

Once I hear the voice I look back and it's Harry. He was ordering and I have to admit, he looked really, really, really attractive. Why do I feel so awkward? I can't even believe I had the audacity to think that.

When he turns around and sees me his face lights up immediately.

I get out of Instagram and lock my phone. I'm never get on Instagram again. I may or may not have liked a 127 week old photo.

"Hi Harry." I say and motion toward the seat on the other side of the table.

"Are you feeling better?" He asks and sits down at my booth.

"Yeah." I sip my drink and try not to make things awkward. I am a master at making things uncomfortable and awkward. If it were a sport, I'd be a 3x gold medalist.

"So, you're up rather early." He grins and his dimples show.

"I have to get coffee in the morning or I'll be a grouch." I laugh. "What are you doing up this early?"

"Just getting some green tea." He says. "I don't like coffee too much."

The cashier calls his name and he stands up. "Be right back."

I watch him as he goes to get it and comes back. Whoa, he's taller than he seems. Okay, I may have feelings for this green tea drinking giant.

He sits back down and grins whilst sipping his tea.

"That looks so weird." I laugh. "It's like green coffee with whipped cream."

"It's really good though." He looks at the little mermaid logo on the front and laughs. "You want to try it?"

"I'm good, I avoid drinking things that are green." I shake my head.

"Do you drink Coke?" He asks. "Because without the food coloring it's green."

"Ew. No more Coke for me."

"I will literally pay to see you drink this." He says.

"But it's green." I laugh. "That's weird."

"Come on, do it." He laughs. "It's good."

He hands it to me and I take a sip. It's actually not that bad. I nod.

"Do you like it?" He asks and he looks excited.

"Yeah, it's good." I laugh and hand it back to him. "It has a weird after taste though."

He laughs his little laugh. There is so much laughing going on. He's adorable, to be honest.

"You're cute." I say aloud. Why do I think out loud? I have a bad habit of just saying what I'm thinking and it gets me into a lot of trouble.

His face turns bright red and he sips his tea nonchalantly. "Thanks, um you're cute too."

I sip my drink to keep from saying anything else and I sit there awkwardly in silence.

Finally Harry says something. "Can I tell you something?"

"Yeah." I wait for what he's going to say. Hopefully it's not as awkward as my weird outburst.

"I'm quite infatuated with you." He looks around the room and sighs. "I try not to say anything about it though."

I nearly choke on my coffee when I hear what he says. "Really?"

"Yes. I've tried to cut it down a bit."

"Uh. Im infatuated with you too."

"Great, then we're on the same page." He shifts in his seat awkwardly.

This is awkward but it's comfortable. I'm happy that he's 'infatuated' with me, but it's quiet so it's awkward.

What do I even say? Yes Harry i think you're super attractive and you smell nice? I'm weird but not that weird.

When I look up at him he's looking at something on his phone and he frowns.

"Something wrong?" I ask. His sudden mood change is really strange. (That rhymed and I didn't even try)

"Well, my friends were going to meet me here but everyone is busy with their girlfriends."

I feel as if he's dropping subtle hints... Perhaps.

"Well, you can just hang out with me." I laugh. "I'm a very interesting person." Says the girl who literally does nothing.

"I'm sure you are." He laughs with me.

"My friends say I'm pretty cool." I shrug. "I don't know though."

"Speaking of friends..." He puts his phone down and looks around the room. "Tonight, Liam & I were going to the skating rink. You can come if you want?"

"Sounds fun. Who's Liam?"

"He's one of my friends. He's pretty cool. Sophia might be there too."

"I guessing that's his girlfriend?"

"Yeah. I'll text Liam and tell him you're coming."

He picks his phone up and looks back and forth between me and the screen.

"You know, I'll just call him." He says and sets the phone on the table. The calling screen was up and he put it on speaker. "You can say hi if you want."

It stopped ringing and there was a voice. "Hey Harry."

"Liam, can my friend come with us tonight when we go skating?" Harry says and grins at me.

"Who's your friend?" Liam asks. I hear moving in the background. He must be in a car.

"Ellie. Her dorm is across from mine." Harry explains. "I think Sophia and her would be good friends."

"Let me guess, you're in love again?"

Again? I'm so confused. Does he know he's on speaker?

"Liam, you're on speaker." Harry scolds him and I laugh.

"Ellie, did you know Harry still sleeps with stuffed animals and he wears footie pajamas?"

Harry hangs up the phone and shakes his head. "I don't do any of that."

"Sure, Harry." I laugh.

"I stopped doing that when I was 15." He puts his phone in his coat pocket.

I look around and a couple people have came in. "So what do you want to do in the mean time?"

"We could just walk around or something." He shrugs.

"Sounds delightful." I laugh nonchalantly.

"Have you seen Big Ben?" He asks.

"The clock? No, I haven't got around to it."

"Well, let's go." He stands up and motions toward the door.

I follow him and we get outside. It's gotten a bit warmer so I wasn't freezing, but I was still shivering.

"Are you cold?" Harry asks as we stop at a corner waiting cars to cross.

"Just a little." I shake my head. "But I'm fine."

"Here." He takes off his black jacket and holds it out to me. "Just so you don't freeze."

"Well, what if you're cold?"

"I'll be fine, just take it."

"Alright." I sigh.

He puts the coat on me and I fumble trying to get my arms through. He just laughs and zips it up.

"It's not even cold." He laughs and we walk across the street.

"I'm either cold or hot, I'm never comfortable." I say and put my hands in the coat pockets and feel his phone in it.

"I'm usually cold, but it's quite warm out today." He looks at me and grins. "Well, it's warm to me."

"Hey, do you want your phone?" I ask and pull it out of the pocket.

"No, you can just keep it in there. I trust you."

"You trust me?"

I put his phone back into the pocket of his jacket and we keep walking down the sidewalk.

Harry's coat was extremely warm. Is it just me, or whenever a boy gives you their coats they're always soft and warm, but when you wear yours they are the opposite? His coat smells like him and for some reason I like it. ITS NOT WEIRD, it's just, well, weird.

"Do you know how to skate?" Harry turns around and walks backwards while looking at me.

"Not really." I shrug. "I'll learn though. It doesn't look that hard."

"I'll teach you. It's really easy when you get the hang of it. The trick is to not fall."

"I'll have problems with that. I'm not exactly balanced."

"You'll be fine."

I look behind him and there's a pole. "Harry, id turn around."

He turns around but still runs into the pole. "Ow." He rubs his forehead.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" I stop walking and look at him.

When he moves his hand I see a little bruise forming on his forehead.

"It's doesn't hurt that bad." He says like nothing happened.

"You have a bruise," I put my hand on his forehead and look at it closely. "It looks bad, are you sure you're okay?"

I accidentally touch the bruise and he winces. "I'm sorry." I move my hand back and avoid touching him.

"Is it noticeable?" He asks.

"Not really." I lie. It's was really purple and really noticeable. "Ok, maybe just a little."

"I don't think that many people will notice." He looks around and then at his feet.

"I have an idea." I take my beanie off and hand it to him. "Wear this."

He takes it and examines it. "How will this cover my forehead?"

"Hold still." I say and put the beanie on his head. I push his bangs forward so that they cover his forehead. "There."

He pushes his bangs to the side but they still halfway cover his forehead. "But this is a girl beanie."

"No it's not. I got it at Hot Topic."

He looks around the city once more and finally sighs. "Alright. Thanks."

"You deserve it for letting me use your coat." I laugh and put my hands into his coat pockets.

He laughs and we start walking toward a large building that was the Big Ben clock tower.

After we get to the front we get to a door and go inside. There was a huge spiral staircase that led to the top.

"We have to walk up there?" I look up at the top of it.

"It's worth it, it has a good view." He says and takes the first step onto the stairs.

"Alright. I'm trusting you on this." I follow him and we start the long journey up the stairs.

About two flights of stairs I start laughing uncontrollably.

Harry looks back at me and smiles. "What?"

"You look funny wearing that beanie." I giggle as we continue to climb the stairs.

"It's better than have people look at this bruise on my head."

"No one will notice though."

"I'm not taking any chances." He laughs and it echoes through the tower.

I should probably tell him that I got it from Victoria's Secret and not Hot Topic, but oh well. No one has seen the tag on the inside that says PINK.

A long, exhausting few minutes later we reach the top and I'm almost out of breath because we decided to have a race halfway up.

"Why did I agree to do that?" Harry pants and breathes heavily.

"You suggested we do it." I laugh in between breathes.

"I regret my decision." He coughs and walks over to a large window that had a huge view of the city.

I follow him and stare at the cars below. I feel dizzy being this high, it's weird. "This looks awesome."

"I like how the people look like ants." He giggles and turns around toward the large room. "I'm the king of London!"

It echoes and he laughs again. "I am queen Elizabeth!"

"You're definitely the queen, Harry." I laugh and try not to get worried by the fact that I'm 300 feet in the air.

"I'm having fun." He says at a normal volume. "Are you?"

"I'm a little scared because of the heights. It's weird, I've never been scared because of heights until now."

"We can go back down if you want?"

"If you want to stay up here we can."

"I've been up here dozens of times. If you're uncomfortable we can go."

"Alright." I step back from the window and we walk to the staircase.

Harry stares down it and sighs. "Race you to the bottom?"

After we get back to the university from Big Ben, It's a little after 3 in the afternoon. We decided to go to Harry's dorm because he wanted to show me his kitten.

"This is Dusty." He sets a black and white cat in my lap.

I pet her head and laugh. "You aren't supposed to have animals in your dorm."

"Don't tell." He whispers. "I've been keeping her in my closet."

"She's so cute." I gush. "Of course I wouldn't tell."

His phone buzzes in my pocket and I pull it out quickly. "Your phone is ringing."

I show him the screen and he laughs. "It's Niall, answer it, he'll be confused."

"Ok." I laugh and hit the green button and I hear shuffling.

"Hello?" I say and hold back my laughter.

"Um. Who is this?" The voice says. It's an Irish accent.

"Uh, it's Ellie." I stutter, and look at Harry and shrug.

"Oh, where's Harry?" The boy, Niall, says.

Harry looks at me and mouths I'm not here.

"Harry isn't here." I think of a lame excuse. "He's at the strip club."

Harry bursts out laughing and I can't help but laugh too. That was the dumbest thing I've ever said.

"Niall." Harry says and stops laughing. "Do you need something?"

"I was going to say that I'm coming home from Ireland in two days." I could hear Niall sigh. "But since you're at the strip club I guess you're busy."

"We're kidding." Harry giggles.

"We?" Niall asks.

"Oh right. This is Ellie. She's my friend who lives across the hall."

"Sure, Harry. She's a friend." Niall laughs.

"I swear she's my friend." Harry looks at me and grins.

Dusty crawls around in my lap and meows.

The screen goes black for a second then another incoming call screen comes up. Call from Liam.

"Niall, Liam's calling, I'll call you back in a second." Harry says and hangs up on Niall. He answers Liam and picks up Dusty.

"You're so cute." Harry says in a baby voice to Dusty. "My little baby girl."

I laugh and an abrupt cough from Liam interrupts.

"Oh, hey Liam." Harry looks up from the kitty.

"Do you guys want to go earlier because Sophia said she doesn't want to get home late?" Liam asks.

Harry looks at me for approval and I nod. "Yeah, that'll be fine." He says.

"Alright, we'll pick you up in front of the university in a few minutes."

"Okay. Bye Liam." Harry says and hangs up on him. He turns to me and asks. "Do you need to get anything before we leave?"

"No, I'm good." I shake my head.

"Let's go." He stands up and sets Dusty down on the ground.

I stand too and follow him out the door. We stand in the hall for a minute while he fumbles with putting his phone in his pocket. He gives up and just puts it into the pocket of his coat I was wearing. Then we walk down the stairs and go through the main lobby. When we get outside there is a black SUV waiting.

"There's Liam." He points and we walk up to the car. He opens the door and hold sit open while I climb in the back seat.

"Harry, what's with the hat?" A boy--with brown hair that kind of swept to the side-- said when he got in next to me.

"No reason. I'm just cold." Harry says and looks at me as if keeping a secret. "This is Ellie."

"I'm Sophia." The girl sitting in the passengers side said. She was really pretty, especially her hair.

"Hi." I say and grin a little. "I'm Ellie."

She grins back and then looks back up front at the road as Liam starts to drive.

"So, what's the deal with you two?" Liam asks a few minutes later.

"There is no deal." Harry looks back and forth between Liam and the window. "We're just friends."

"I don't believe you for some reason." Liam looks back at him and smirks.

"Why would I lie about that? If I had a girlfriend, you know I'd be bragging." Harry looks at him with a serious facial expression.

"I can't take you seriously in that beanie." Liam laughs and Sophia looks back to see the beanie Harry was wearing.

"I have that same beanie. It's from Victoria's Secret." She says and then looks at me. "I hope that's yours."

"It is." I laugh. "He's covering his bruise."

"Victoria's Secret?" Harry repeats and pulls the beanie off of his head and hands it t me.

I stuff it down in my--Harry's-- coat pocket.

"What bruise?" Liam asks.

Harry pushes his bangs out of the way and Liam's laughs even harder.

"What happened?" Liam's says and I could tell he was trying to hold back his laughter but failing.

"I ran into a pole." Harry mumbles. "On our way to Big Ben."

"Harry, it's gotten even more purple." I point out. "You should put some ice on it."

"It's fine." He says and pushes his bangs back. "It'll be gone by tomorrow."

The car stops and we're outside the skating rink. Liam and Sophia get out and Harry holds the door for me to get out.

I crawl out and we walk to the door and go inside. It was colorful and there was glow in the dark lights so everything white started glowing--including my shirt.

After we got our roller skates and sat down at a bench on the side of the rink, Liam and Sophia started to skate.

"How do you even do this?" I ask while tying the lace on the skates.

"I'll show you." He says and when I get done tying the laces he stands up. "Just stand up and try to balance."

I stand up slowly and hold on to the side of the wall. It didn't work, it's a wall. I manage to stand without falling.

"Come here." Harry holds his hand out to me.

"I'll try." I laugh and start to scoot across the floor slowly. I reach out, take his hand and hope I don't fall.

"It's just like walking but on wheels." He says and pulls me forward a little bit.

"Okay, I think I got it." I let go of his hand and try to skate on my own.

It works out for a while but when I tried to turn around I slipped and fell right on my butt.

"Are you okay?" Harry asks and holds his hand out.

"I'm fine." I laugh and let him help me up.

When I get to my feet and don't fall he watches intently. "I told you it's easy." He laughs.

"Kind of." I say and watch my feet so I don't trip. "I just don't want to fall on my face."

"You won't." He says and takes my hand. "Trust me."

"I do trust you. I don't trust myself." I laugh and we start skating slowly around the circular room. I fall a couple times but I laugh it off.

Liam and Sophia catch up to us. "You guys having fun?" Liam asks with a laugh.

"I only fell 3 times." I say. "So it's been fun in between."

"You can always give up and go to the arcade." Sophia laughs. "It works for me."

"Actually, we should go to the arcade. It's better." Liam looks around the room.

"Race you there." Harry says then looks at me. "Okay, maybe not."

"Remember what happened last time." I remind him.

"What?" Liam asks.

"I raced her up Big Ben and when we got to the top we couldn't breathe." Harry explains. "Then I raced her down the stairs."

"You should get used to stupid decisions like that, Ellie. Especially if you're around Harry." Liam says and then laughs when Harry slaps his shoulder.

"I make pretty good decisions." Harry argues.

"Remember when you decided that going outside during a blizzard would be fun?" Sophia asks him.

"Why would that ever be a good idea?" I ask and laugh a little bit.

"It wasn't snowing that hard." Harry mumbles. "Let's just go to the arcade."

Liam laughs and we get off of the skating rink and onto the carpet where we could put on our shoes. I had to hold Harry's hand the whole time because I was falling.

"You should do stuff with us more often." Sophia says. "You're awesome."

"Yeah that'd be great. It'd be like a double date." Liam looks at Harry and wiggles his eyebrows. "You'd like that, wouldn't you harry?"

"Shut up, Liam." Harry scorns him.

"Guys, quit arguing. Ellie and Harry are just friends." Sophia looks at me and grins. I think she's sending subliminal messages.

"I'll believe that when I see it." Liam mumbles.

I put my normal shoes on and we all walk into the arcade. There was a lot of games.

Liam went into the photo booth with Sophia and I watched Harry try to get a stuffed animal with the prize claw.

"I almost had it." He whines after his fifth try. "I can do this."

"Why do you want to win so badly?" I ask. "It's just a stuffed cat."

"Because it's for you." He concentrates on where to drop the claw.

"I don't have to have it that badly."

"I don't care."

He tries again and this time it lifts it up but drops it right next to the hole.

"I have to try again." He says and reaches into his pocket for a quarter.

He gets one and puts it in. He tries again and it finally falls down into the hole.

"Yes!" He exclaims and reaches his hand into the little hole to get the cat.

"It took you 7 tries." I laugh.

He hands me the cat. "Here you go, m'lady."

I turn it around and look at it. "It looks like you."

"Is that good or bad?"

"Good, maybe." I shrug and turn around. "You'll figure it out."

About an hour later, when we get back to the university, it was about 6ish.

"See you later guys." Sophia says as we get out.

"Harry?" Liam calls out to him.

"Yeah?" Harry turns around and looks at him.

"Use protection." Liam bursts into laughter and Sophia slaps his arm.

"You seem to know a lot about that." Harry fires back. "Considering that you don't use it."

After a few more seconds of arguing, Sophia makes them stop and they drive off.

Harry keeps looking at me and the ground as we walk up the steps to the lobby.

"Liam was kidding, by the way." He says as he opens the door for me.

When we both get in I turn to him. "I know."

He nods and we walk up the steps to the dormitory. It's quiet until we finally get in between his door and mine.

"Here's your jacket." I unzip it to take it off.

He stops me. "You can keep it, I don't wear it that much."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Just keep it."

"Alright." I sigh and it's quiet again.

"So, I'll see you tomorrow?" Harry breaks the silence.

"Uh. Yeah." I stutter and put my hand on my doorknob. I have no idea what to say.

"You look pretty, just saying." He says slowly then he looks down at his feet.

"Thanks." I blush and look around the hall. It was quiet and empty.

"I guess I'll see you later." He looks up from his feet and opens his door slightly. "Bye Ellie."

"Bye Harry." I smile and open my door as well.

When I go inside my dorm he goes in his. I just take off the jacket and set it down on my desk. It was only 6:58 but I was really tired so I laid down and tried to sleep.

Suddenly I hear a phone ring and it isn't mine because mine is on silent. Oh god, it's Harry's, it was still in the coat pocket.

I get up and dig through the pocket and get his phone. Niall was calling. I don't know what to do so I answer it.

"Hello?" I say quietly.

"Oh, is this Ellie?" He asks.

"Yeah. Harry left his phone, I'll go give it to him."

"I have a question."

"Are you two dating or something?"

"No, he's just my friend. Why?"

"Just checking. He doesn't talk to many girls."

"He doesn't?"

"Not really. Just his mother."

"That's..." I walk to the door and open it. "Cool, I guess."

"Do you like him?"

"Not specifically."

"So. Yes?"

"I barely know him."

"Well. Give me more information when you get to know him."

"Wait. I don't even know you."

"You don't need to." He says. "Just give Harry his phone, I need to talk to him."

"Alright." I say and knock on Harry's door.

After a few seconds he's standing in front of me. "Hi."

"You left your phone in the jacket." I hand him his phone. "Niall called."

He puts the phone up to his ear. "Hello?"

I stand there awkwardly while waiting for him to hang up....

"Oh, really?" Harry says and then grins at me. "I will do that soon. Ok. Bye."

He puts his phone in his pocket and looks at me. "Thanks."

"No problem." I grin back at him.

"Hey Ellie?"

"Do you like me? I know that's an odd question but you said it earlier and I just wanted to be sure."

I cannot stop smiling. "Yes."

He smiles and leans casually again the door frame. "Don't tell Liam."

"I won't." I laugh. His dimples are perfectly there. You cannot go wrong with dimples.

"I'm going to be honest." He sighs. "Since last night I could not stop thinking about you."

"I thought about you for a while." I admit. My face turns a bit red but I don't care.

"I've liked you. I just never talked to you until last night."

"Yeah. Is that weird?"

"No, not at all." I shake my head and look at him. "It's kind of cute."

He pushes his bangs out of the way and I see his bruise got even more purple but with some blue.

"You're bruise got worse." I tell him. "Are you sure you don't want to put ice on it?"

"I'm sure it's fine." He says. "How bad is it on a scale from first aid kit to ambulance?"

"First aid kit."

"I think I'll survive."

"Try not to walk into any more poles."

"I'll try." He laughs and it gets quiet again. It's silence, but it's not awkward.

"Do you want to, maybe, go on a date?" He asks quietly and looks at his feet again.

"Yes." I say and a grin forms on his face when he hears the words. "That'd be great."

He looks up and stares at me for a second before hugging me tightly. "Thank you so much."

"Why are you thanking me?" I hug him back. Alright, I'll come out and say it; he smells nice.

"Because no girl has ever said yes before." He lets go of me and he looks embarrassed.

"Why not? You're a great guy." I smile and take in what's happening. I just want to squish his cute little face, his cheeks are kind of chubby, it's adorable.

"They say I'm too weird." He says quietly. The grins fades and he looks sad.

"You're not weird. You're awesome." I try to brighten the mood.

He grins a little then he looks around the hall. "I'm just really happy that you didn't reject me."

"I would never reject you." I smile. "I like you."

"I like you too, a lot."

I don't know why, but I just want to give him a great big hug. So I did.
