Prodigy's Life in Vague, Enigmatic, Slightly Confusing Terms

This diary does not (entirely) reflect my life, but perhaps my sole purpose of living: to have you leave more confused than you came in. Everything within is the truth, if you can manage to decipher it. Viel gluck, meine landeskunde.

131. Saturday, September 19th.

"Now I know a disease that these doctors can't treat,

you contract on the day you accept all you see

is a mirror and a mirror is all it can be

a reflection of something we're missing."

-Bright Eyes, "A Scale, A Mirror, and Those Indifferent Clocks"

What concluded was one of the most difficult conversations I've ever had.

"The sea was red and the sky was grey, wondered how tomorrow could ever follow today.

The mountains and the canyons started to tremble and shake

as the children of the sun began to awake.

Seems like the wrath of the Gods got a punch on the nose and it started to flow;

I think I might be sinking.
Throw me a line if I reach it in time,

I'll meet you up there where the path runs straight and high.

...Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,

telling myself it's not as hard, hard, hard as it seems."

-Led Zeppelin, "Going to California"
