Prodigy's Life in Vague, Enigmatic, Slightly Confusing Terms

This diary does not (entirely) reflect my life, but perhaps my sole purpose of living: to have you leave more confused than you came in. Everything within is the truth, if you can manage to decipher it. Viel gluck, meine landeskunde.

152. Monday, November 23rd.

What gave that wall the right to be where my head wanted to go?

So the other day (friday to be exact) I did something that, in many cultures, would be defined as stupid. That was, I sat outside on the sidewalk voluntarily in 40 degree weather for 9 hours. Well, you might ask several questions stemming from this information, first and foremost: why????? Right, well, remember, I did something similar to this once before right? In Canada? Yes. Well, we figured it was time for a reprise.

I sat outside all day for a Nate Ruess concert of my own free will. Nate Ruess. The person I used to say sang like a dying cat. What is wrong with me.

Well, regardless, I survived the wind, the cold, and, yes, even the hail, and it was a very good thing that I did because the opener was just fantastic. Like, I really have no idea why I took such a liking to them. I usually hate the openers. They're called The Demos if anyone cares to look them up, and they're a local band (local to Rochester, where I got to school) so I've made a major life decision.

I'm dropping out of school to become a groupie.

I also bought a CD, had it signed and got a picture with the lead singer. I felt so bad because he was at the merchandise table selling his band's stuff while the majority of the table was taken up by Nate Ruess stuff, and after the concert, everyone swarmed the Nate side and he just stood there looking sad. I was going to buy an album anyway, but that encouraged all my friends to buy one too XD And then I said that they played really well and I liked them a lot and he was like so happy. Totally being a groupie.
