Hello, dear reader!

My name is Jo, I'm 18, and I feel like I'm some sort of life roller coaster that needs to stop because I'm going to throw up. Growing up seems to be an option you can't carry on your life without accepting. It's like the terms and conditions that nobody really knows what it contains because let's face it, nobody reads them. Ever. We could have all sold our souls to Apple Inc. by now but we wouldn't have noticed.

My life is in turmoil. I know that sounds dramatic but it's true. In September, my life is about to be changed and I don't deal well with change. I guess it might be fun.

I better get started with today. Today was my brother's birthday. Ha. One hell of a birthday. He might be moving back in. Well, that might stall my plans for moving into K's room once he moves out. Thanks, L.

Working lunches is killing me a little inside. I swear if one more kid calls me "Cinderella" while I'm sweeping, I will not be held responsible for my actions. One of the "popular" (I use this term loosely because I'm sure you have to be liked by more than just 4 people to be classed as popular) Year 9 girls today, let's call her Alicia, was sat at a table with her friends talking about makeup and boys when a girl, let's call her Darcy, stormed up to her and started shouting. She was sobbing which didn't really help her case because nobody could tell what she was saying. Finally, I think I established she was yelling at Alicia for kissing her boyfriend (Let's call him Freddie) behind her back. Alicia denied it and was offended by the suggestion she could do such a thing to her "bae" of a best friend. So Freddie made the mistake of coming into the canteen and both girls were screaming at him. Something was said about the said kissing taking place during a relationship break so I was amused by the accidental Friends reference. Alicia accidently admitted it was true. Biggest mistake to make when you're in front of about 100 kids. Basically Freddie escaped marginally unscathed then Alicia turned to salvage the remainder of her friendship with Darcy, Darcy dumped a plate of chicken pie and gravy on Alicia's head. It was funny at the time until I realised I had to clean it up. To be honest, I think it was worth it just to see Alicia dripping in gravy and peas. She was notorious for bullying my friend's little sister until we told Alicia that there's nothing more pathetic than a 14 year old bullying an 11 year old then her older sister found out and wasn't amused that Alicia, her precious sister, was a bully.

I'll have to see what happens when I return to 6th form and work on Thursday since I get Wednesdays off.

Anyway, I'm sure you all have better things to do than listen to my saga!

Sweet dreams,

 Jo x
