71. Chapter 71 : The Perfect Gift

Calum's POV

One week left. Just one more week, I told myself We've come so far to give up in such little time. Soon she'll be in my arms once again. We were back in America and I told her that we could reunite before but she said she was busy with school and the shop kept her busy. I still can't believe she opened a record store. How awesome is that.

She doesn't tell me much about how her life is being back in school Especially with the fact that Brad is also there as well as she is. She hasn't told me whether he's bothered her or not. And I don't want to ask because I don't want to push it. She already knows that she can come to me in case anything ever happens.

I had written a song along with the other guys and we planned on performing it on the night before of the show that Helen will go to. It was a bit based off a conversation we had with each other a while back and I was just inspired by what we said. My feelings were controlling and I just grabbed a pen and paper and poured my feelings and thoughts onto the sheet.

She said that she'd be going to our very last show of the tour and I was very excited and happy. Luke was happy as well, to finally see his sister after six months of being separated from her. I personally was excited to see her and have her all to myself for the rest of the night. She told me she would take care of the place that we would stay in. Whether it be a hotel room or her house, I don't care as long as I am with her.

"Should I get her a gift?" I asked the guys who were sitting around me.

"Like what?" Michael asked.

"I dunno," I replied. "Roses?"

"Roses are overkill, ever guys gets that for their girlfriends," Ashton stated. "Get her something unique."

"Ashton is right, Cal," Luke said. "You haven't seen her in 6 months, roses are not going to cut. At least they are not going to show your love for her. They will, but it's still not enough."

I let his words sink in. They were right. Roses are something that almost every girl gets for every special occasion. That or chocolates and cards and other lovey dovey shit. I need to get Helen something that she will remember, not something that will die within a week of her having it. Something that will last, maybe even forever.

I had an idea but I needed Luke's help.

"Luke," I said.

"What's up?" he asked.

"Can you help me on something,"I said.

"Totally," He replied.

I told him my idea on my gift to Helen. Sure it would be pricey but it's a small price I'll have to pay for Helen. She deserves everything I'm about to give her and then some more. After I finished explaining myself, Luke frowned.

"You think she'll like it?" I asked.

"Maybe, it will only be once right? And plus she hasn't had an actual date like that in a long time, I think you should go for it," Luke encouraged.

Ashton smiled, "You are so whipped for her, bro."

"Am not," I said.

"Don't lie to yourself. We all know that if she were to call you and asked for you to take her shopping you would not hesitate and cancel everything that would be in your way just to get your time withe her," Michael laughed.

I guess I really was whipped. I would do anything for her. Which is a scary thought considering the band and my family and myself. But I do love her and I want her to be happy. I'll do anything to keep a smile on her face.

Something that is unique, I told myself. What's unique? What's something that almost every girl wants but has to wait for it?

"Maybe you can even give her a Victoria's Secret gift card! What girl doesn't want that?" Michael exclaimed.

I nodded at the idea. Who knew Michael would be this helpful when it came to relationships?

After various hard thinking and coming up with ideas with the boys, I have come to a great conclusion. I stood up and made my way to the door.

"Where are you going?" Luke asked.

"To buy Helen a gift," i replied.

"What are you going to get her?" Ashton asked.

I stopped, my hand was on the door knob.

"A ring," I replied before opening the door and walking out.
