50. Chapter 50 : I Drink My Anger Away

Calum's POV

We were at the bar. The blasting music and sweaty bodies made it perfect to release anger. I finished my third drink and slammed the cup down on the counter.

"Another," I told the bartender.

He nodded and took the glass.

"You okay Cal?" Luke asked.

"I'm fine," I replied.

"You don't look fine," Michael added. "What happened?"

"I got in an argument with Helen," I said. "It ended pretty nasty."

"Well what'd she say?" Michael asked.

"She told me she was done with me and my shit and hung up," I said.

"Oh you fucked up this time," Luke said. "You really pissed her off. Did she dump you?"

"What? No!" I replied.

"You sure? The last time she hung up on me in an argument she didn't talk to me for a month," Luke added.

It was just an argument, I told myself. I grabbed my glass, now full and took a big gulp.

I planned on getting drunk until I had no feeling and until i had no idea what I was doing. That's the best kind of drunk.

I asked for another drink after another drink. I was probably going to regret this, but right now...right now. I don't give a fuck.

I had a girl pressed up against my chest. She interlaced her fingers in my hair. It felt so good. She turned and buried her face in my chest and wrapped her arms around my neck. I placed my arms on her back, hugging her tightly. We were in an isolated corner, away from the madness of the late night clubers.

"Helen?" I asked.

The girl giggled, "Yea?"

"Kiss me."

She laughed, clearly drunk. But then again, so was I.

"Okay," She slurred.

She pulled my head down towards her. I saw the girl's face. She wasn't Helen.

"Stop!" I quickly sobered up and held the girl by the shoulders.

"What's wrong baby? Didn't you want to kiss?" She asked.

"No. I have a girlfriend," I replied.

"Oh c'mon. What she doesn't know, doesn't kill her," The girl said.

"No, this goes on, no longer," I replied and left her there as I walked away.
