38. Chapter 38 : What Did I Do?

Helen's POV

I woke up in my bed. The duvet was pulled over me and covered my body. I still wore my dress from last night.

LAST NIGHT! What did I do? All I remember is gulping down a couple drinks and the rest of the night is a haze.

I grabbed my phone and called Adin. I bit my lip as the line rang.

"Hullo?" He asked.

"Adin! What happened last night?" I asked.

"You might want to call Calum for that," he said.

I groaned, "I got drunk, didn't I?"

"And I called Calum."

"You're on the right track."

"You know I do stupid shit when I'm drunk! Wonder what I fucking did this time." I mumbled.

"Call Calum, that's all I gotta say."

"Okay," I said and ended the call before dialing Calum's number.

"Well, well, well the princess awakens," he greeted.

"Calum, I'm very sorry for last night, I don't know what I did, but I'm sorry."

"You called me an asshole and threatened to break up with me," He stated.

I hate myself.

"Baby, I'm so sorry! You're not an asshole and I'll never break up with you," I said quickly.

He chuckled, "It's okay darling. It shows you really love me."

"Was that sarcasm?" I asked.

"Doesn't matter, but I also heard that you said that the best part of the relationship is the sex." He was grinning, I know it.

Blood rushed to my cheeks and I face palmed. Kill me now.

"Okay, fine the sex is really good. It's great actually and I can't believe drunk me said that," I mumbled.

"I win at life!" Calum exclaimed. "I'm doing something good!"

"Shut up, Hood." I laughed.

"Love you too, princess. Did you barely wake up?" He asked.

"Yep," I yawned and stretched one of my arms out. "This dress I'm wearing is so annoying."

"Whoa. Hold it, time out. You're wearing a dress?"

"Yes." I replied.

"You. Helen Rose Hemmings, in a dress."

"Yes Calum," I said getting annoyed.

"The thought just blows my mind," He said wonder struck.

"It's not the first time," I mumbled.

"I only saw you in a dress one time. And that was for our first date," he said.

"Aw, remember that? Good times, we went to Panda Express then to watch The Great Gatsby. And you took me to The Cliff. I miss that."

"I was nervous as hell!" He exclaimed.

I laughed, "I miss you."

"Miss you too darling. Don't get too sad, please. My heart aches for you when you shed tears. Tears I wish I could simply kiss away and hold you tightly, until you're no longer sad."

I felt a sudden weight on my shoulders.

"Timezones Calum, these timezones are going to make it difficult for us to communicate. To hear your voice."

"I can practically feel the sadness in your voice beautiful. Please don't be sad. We made it through three months, we'll make it through three more. Just don't give up just yet, dammit." He pleaded.

"I love you Calum."

"I love you too Helen, always. I'll call you before I go to sleep, okay?"

I nodded but whispered out an, "Okay."

"Have a good day, baby."

He hung up.

I love you so much Calum. More than you could ever imagine.
