33. Chapter 33 : I'm A Mom??

Helen's POV

LAX. I could smell the summer air of sand, sweat, and angry drivers stuck in traffic. Ah yes, it's good to be back.

While I waited for my bags, I called Luke. After the fifth ring, he answered.

"Ay boo boo," he said in a deep voice. He used to do that all the time when we were kids and pre-teens. I laughed.

"Hey there, Hemmo." I greeted. "I have landed safetly in Los Angeles and I am just waiting for my bags."

"Is that Helen?" I heard Calum say.

"Yea," Luke replied.

"Hey sweetheart," Calum said.

"Hi Cal."

"Land safetly?" He asked.

"Yes Calum, I'm fine," I giggled at his worry.

"Great. Oh you're on speaker phone by the way," Calum noted.

"That's fine," I said. "So how's everything going? Writing sessions going good?" I spottef my bags and walked over to them before picking them up.

"They're great! Nice to get all those ideas onto paper and add some music to the words," Luke replied.

"Hi Helen!" Michael exclaimed.

"Hey Mikey!"

"Hello better Hemmings," Ashton said.

"I thought I was the better Hemmings," Luke said sounding disappointed.

"Well Helen's not as annoying as you," Ash replied.

"Annoyance runs in our veins," I joked.

"That's very true," Calum agreed.

I laughed and made my way to the gate. Dad didn't tell me if he was going to pick me up or anything like that so I had to improvise.

A huge group of girls caught my attention. I gasped and a huge smile crept on my face.

"Hey guys can I call you later? I found my ride," I said interrupting the boys' conversation about frozen yogurt.

"Yea, sure," Luke replied.

"Thanks, love you guys." I Hung up and looked at the group of my Californian friends.

Meg, Emily, Joshua, Marley, Brianna, Katy, Maleah, Charlize, Annabelle, Taylor, Alyssa, Brooke, Orla, Clary, Sarah, Nena, Katie, Madison and Adin all stood huddled together. They held a huge sign that said "WELCOME HOME MOM!"

I laughed at the sign and received various confused looks as to why my friends would have a sign that says that.

They were all smiling widely at me. I dropped my bags and extended my arms.

"Embrace me my children!" I said going along with the joke.

Adin ran to me first. He swept me off the floor and hugged me tightly.

 "Welcome back Helen," he whispered.

"Good to be back," I squeezed.

He set me down and I was soon engulfed by the girls. We had a large group hug and shared smiles and a few tears. Damn, it was good to be back in the home state.

"We missed you so much Helen!" Taylor exclaimed.

"I missed you all so much as well!" I replied truthfully.

We broke apart.

"I'll take your bags Helen." Adin said and grabbed my bags before swinging them over his shoulder. The girls dragged me to the exit past the commotion of new travelers.

I laughed as they pulled my hands.

When we got outside I saw a huge black bus sitting on the curb.

"You did not," I said.

"We did!" Orla replied.

"Oh my god!" I exclaimed as Sarah opened the bus' doors and entered the mobile.

"C'mon!" She called.

I was ushered in and the bus driver tipped his hat to me. I smiled. The bus was wrapped around with long luxurious black leather seats. There was a small ice cooler in the corner.

I was ushered in and the bus driver tipped his hat to me. I smiled. The bus was wrapped around with long luxurious black leather seats. There was a small ice cooler in the corner.

No doubt, held alcohol. The bus was lit with dim blue lights and music silently played.

"Can't believe you'd do this for me," I said shocked and gaped at the magnificent bus.

"Of course we would! We missed you," Madison said.

"And those gorgeous Australians you brought," Emily added.

"Might I remind you, Emily, that one of them is Helen's brother and the other on is her boyfriend," Maleah stated.

I laughed.

"Speaking of them, where are they?" Annabelle asked.

"Oh, they're in the UK," I replied. "Doing band things."

Adin set my bags down, "Let's get this party started! Brian, let's rock and roll!"

"Who's Brian?" I asked.

"Bus driver," Brooke replied.

"And might I add he has an excellent taste in party music!" Josh added and kissed Brooke's forehead.

Music suddenly started blasting from the speakers and the bus started movingmoving before we could even sit down so we nearly fell on our asses.

We scurried to sit on the seats. Adin sat next to me. He looked at me and smiled widely.

"So good to have you back," he hugged me once again with his-now healed-arm.

I laughed, "How are you feeling? Better I presume."

"A lot better, thank you very much." He replied. "Oh I brought your favorite!" He opened the ice cooler and brought out a bottle of Smirnoff Ice.

"You know me so well!" I exclaimed.

"Charlize got hooked us up," He replied.

I looked at Charlize, the queen of getting alcohol even though you're underage. She gave me back a wicked smile.

No one really knows how she gets the exotic wine and alcohol, but no one really evet asked her. And we never plan on asking.

I twisted the cap off the bottle and took a swig. The black tinted windows blocked anyone from seeing our stupid teenage schinanigans we're about to commit.

Avicii's The Nights blared from the speakers and since we were stuck in traffic, we all got up and started screaming the lyrics.

We screamed and danced and lived life like I never left and it felt good! It felt good to be surrounded by my best friends.

It felt good to be back in general.
