Dear Diary,

I am frightened with a dash of frazzled. I am on a lifeboat. Clarence is sitting adjacent to me. Mama and Papa were still on the boat. I am uncertain of what will happen to them. What is said to be the last of the lifeboats was just lowered. I am praying that mama and papa made it. We are in the middle of the ocean. There are very few seats on the life boat. Clarence is asleep. Some are panicked; others remain in a calm state. I will tell you what happened when someone tells me.
