A little girl, Evelyn, writes to her diary about her experince on the Titanic


8. April 14, 1912 12:00 pm

Dear Diary,

                Today mama was talking with a man. I believe his name was Harold. She wanted to know about the safety we had. He told her that there was an iceberg warning, but nothing else to worry about. An iceberg is a huge concern to papa, but I don’t think that there shall be any problems, for, Captain Smith in considered the best around. I assume we shall see how events play out.
