Conversations With Myself

If you're looking for a proper story - one with a plot and suspense and a bunch of other stuff, walk away NOW. If you're looking for some deep and meaningful movella where the title has some hidden meaning, run away as fast as you can. I mean what I say; these are literally conversations with myself.

1. Introducing the voices in my head

Hello everybody, perhaps I should elaborate more on the blurb. You see, for a long time now I have had this ongoing issue where, at random points in time, I will begin to have a conversation with myself. I like to think of this as normal behavior (that's not what the doctors said). However, I have decided that it must be very annoying for others when I break out in a random conversation. So, I have decided to put them all in one place. Introducing.......... CONVERSATIONS WITH MYSELF!! But before I engage in these little conversations, I must first introduce you to the voices in my head.

Now this first little voice is one I like to refer to as Drama. She's my melodramatic side (obviously) and at times can be very beautiful and poetical (is that a word?) though most if the time she's just annoying.

Next is Argument. The name is kinda self explanatory. Argument is a very calculating and logical person (I like to think of her as my Erudite side) and will challenge anyone's opinion she does not agree with. She will argue to the death, even if she is wrong. Argument and Drama don't get along very well, as Argument values logical thinking above all else and Drama, well, doesn't.

Then there's Violence. A bit of an unsavory person and one I'm not all together proud of. It's where all the anger, irritation and crabbiness is channeled, and as you can imagine she does not make for a pleasant dinner party guest. Violence gets excited by sugar, lots and lots of sugar.

Next up is Hippie. Now, I know what your thinking, and you are entirely justified in that thinking Hippie is exactly what you'd expect. She was created a while ago as a result of lack of sleep, tons of sugar and the presence of some friends. Hippie and Violence don't get along because, as with Drama and Argument, their values are the complete opposite.

Now for the final voice. This voice is the supervisor, the leader, if you will. She watches over the other voices as a mother might watch over squabbling children. She is vital to the harmony of the voices. Without her it would be chaos. And her name is........ Her name is........... Well, I don't really have a name for her so I'm just going to call her Bubbles.

I have now introduced you to all my little voices. I hope this Movella won't bore you to death, and if it does I'll rip out your guts, bake them in a cake and feed you that cake (Violence!! Remember what I told you about making threats!!) anyways, see you next time!!!! (Wow, what a lame ending) shut up Drama. (Hey, I just call it like I see it) yeah, well, how would you end it?? (Hmmm, I would go something like-) you know what? Forget it.
