Ellen’s POV

“It’s only been seven hours.” I say as Louis starts to complain, “And we have plenty more to go.” I turn my head away from my book to look at him, “And if you don’t shut up I will strangle you.” A smirk appears on his face.

“You have really good patients.” I look at him confused.

“It only too you.” He pretends to check the time on the watch he isn’t wearing, “Two and a half hours to tell me to stop complaining.”

“I was turning you out.” he frowns, “Will you please be quiet? For the people around us.” he smiles and leans down to kiss me, taking my book and looking over the page, his eyes widen before he turn it to look at the cover.

“Fifty shades darker?” he asks looking back at me, I grip the book leaning closer.

“The sequel to fifty shades of grey.” I smirk and he frowns.

“That’s disgusting.”

“That’s what you think, but it’s a really good book.”

“I read one sentence from it and there’s nothing but sex.”

“That’s because im in the middle of a sex scene.” I say as I find my page, as I start to read again I feel my hair begin to be pulled to the side, Louis starts to play with the long strands, wrapping them around each other, plaiting them and im surprised he knows how. “You know how to plait.” I state not removing my eyes from my book.

“I’ve done my sisters hair for school on more than one occasion.” I smile at the thought of Louis standing behind his little sisters doing their hair for school. “Why are you smiling?” he asks and I look up at him.

“I think it’s really cute you know how to do peoples hair.” He frowns.

“Being cute is girly.” I shake my head.

“It’s not.” We start a small argument about whether being cute is girly and it ends up with him kissing me to shut me up. “You only do that when you know im right.” I say looking back at my book, I take a little glimpse at him and he looks amused as he watches me, I smile innocently at him before kissing him again. I was quite happy with the spot my parents got us on the plain, it was a two seater and quite an okay class, when I look around at the people in this part of the plane with us there all older and it makes me wonder if this is the class my mum uses when she goes over seas for her work.

“That’s not true.” I nod.

“But it is, whenever you haven’t got anything else to come back with you stop the argument by kissing me.” I turn in my chair and place my feet up, looking at him as I rest my back against the wall of the cabin.

“Do I need to do it again?” he asked and I turn my head to look to my left, the lady behind me watching us as her husband sleeps beside her, a smile on her face and I blush before looking back to Louis, I bight my lips before nodding, he leans over quickly and presses his lips to mine, my left hand resting on his shoulder my right holding the nape of his neck, the head rest of my seat hiding our actions from the lady behind, he trails kissing up my check before licking back down to my lips, I giggle and I try and push him away, sinking in my seat and I call his name, I try and keep my laughter soft as he starts to flutter his lashes on my cheek.

“Babe, stop.” I say and he only caresses his movement before pushing his lips back to mine, a soft moan leaving my lips, “Louis, stop.” I giggle and he pulls away resting his forehead to mine, both our breathing heavy as we look at each other.

“You smell good.” He tells me and I blush, smiling as I peck his lips, he sits back in his seat, eyes on me as I look out the window, I don’t even know where we are at the moment, I don’t know if the sun is rising of setting, Louis grasps my hand, intertwining our fingers, I look back but don’t connect my vision with his as I look at our hands playfully twisting, I smile when he traps mine and squeezes gently, he brings it to his lips, kissing each finger softly before kissing the back of my hand, “I love you.” He tells me and I blush knowing the lady behind us is listening; I lean up and peck his cheek.

“I love you too.”

“So how long till were there.” I roll my eyes and squeeze his hand as I lean my head on his shoulder.

“Go to sleep.” I say as I get comfortable on his arm, “We will be there sooner.” I feel him press a kiss to my temple as he whispered.

“Sweet dreams.”

Five hours later

I woke up to the shaking of the plane, I knew it was turbulence, there was pliantly of that when I was going to London last year, when I look towards Louis his engulfed in the book, he doesn’t even notice im awake.

“Enjoying that?” I ask and his ears prick but he doesn’t move, “Lou.” He turns to me and smiles.

“Your awake.” I nod.

“How’s the book?” he looks back to it.

“Very kinky.” I laugh and nod.

“It is, but you should read the first one before this.” I say pulling it from his fingers, “It’s better that way.” I place it beside me on the chair, “Have you slept at all?” he shakes his head.

“After about an hour of you being out cold I started reading that.” I nod.

“Ellen, wake up.” I scrunch my face up, “Baby, we’re here.” Louis voice sounds and I open my eyes, the light beaming thought the window, where in Australia but my small burst of excitement is ruined when I notice really how tired I am.

“I’m so tired.” I whine and he presses a soft kiss to my lips.

“Come on, your family will be waiting.” I watch as he reaches up to grab our carry on’s, when I stand I notices most of the people have exited the plane, Louis slides the bag on his shoulder and I grip the book in my hand as he takes my spear one and guids me towards the exit, we walk through the familiar airport until we are stopped at the bag terminal where people stand around watching out for their bags, I step away from Louis when I see mine and pull it off, soon after he grabs his and we are on our way to find my family, we walk though security one last time before we are scanning everyone for familiar faces.

“Ellen!” I hear a familiar voice and look around to see Josh running towards me, I bend to capture him in a hug and he squeezes me tightly as I do him.

“Crap you’ve gotten tall.” I say as I look down at him.

“Maybe you’ve gotten shorter.” I laugh.

“Very funny.” I smile and hug him again, soon my family are over with us, I wrap my arms around my mum while my dad and Louis shake hands, then I hug my dad while my mum greets Louis in a hug.

“How was the flight?” my mum asks and Louis and I look towards each other before I look back at her.

“Good I guess, im bloody tired, we lost a day.” I say and she nods.

“Well let’s get you guys to the house so you can get some rest, its four now so it will be dark soon.” I nod and we all make our way out, Soap asking about London, even though we have talked on video chat and the phone a million times since I left. Our suit cases are placed in the boot by my dad and we get in the car, mum and dad in the front, me in the middle with Josh and Louis either side of me, Louis’ hand resting just above my knee as I show Josh some phones on my phone, mostly of the cats which I have only spoken about to my family, they haven’t seen them until now.

“So that one it the girl, Sassy and the other Bandit.” Josh asks and I nod, I trace the patent on Bandits back on the phone screen.

“Bandit has the marble pattern, Sassy has the spotted.” I say and he takes my phone going through the few photos I have, I lean into Louis and soon where pulling into the familiar street, I smile as I see my house, pulling into the drive way, Soap pulls me inside and out the back while Louis helps my dad with the bags, “You got a dog!” I almost scream as I drop to the floor and play with it.

“Her names Chewie.” He tells me and I smile as I call her name, her tail wagging from side to side quickly as I pat her, soon Louis joins us and after a while we enter the house to the nice smell of dinner being cooked, I walk into the kitchen and lean against the counter as Soap steels my boyfriend. Eventually dinner is ready and we all sit in the dining room, me in my old spot, Josh telling Louis to take his so he is beside me, my mum and dad both in their normal spots as we talk about everything, my dad always finding a way to ask about Louis and his future. Louis wraps an ankle around mine as we eat, I think he did it to find comfort in my dad questioning him; I rub my bare foot soothingly up and down his calf and continue to talk to my family while eating.

I lie on my bed, Louis beside me as we go through old photos, when we come across one where im patting a young crocodile, I smile, remembering the day. I was so enthusiastic about touching the animals, most of the other kids were whimpering back when it came to the reptile part where I was trying to take the snakes and lizards off the handler, the man laughing as I smiled wide, not even looking at the camera, but so mesmerised by the small crocodile in front of me.

“Your hair was curly when you were young.” Louis says and I nod.

“It was until I was fourteen, I had I permanently straightened.” He looked at me.

“Can you do that?” I laughed and nodded.

“Living proffer.” I say tugging a bit of my hair and we move on.

“She looks a lot a like you.” Louis tells me and I have to swallow to keep my emotions from showing.

“Yeah, it’s my cousin.” I lie; a frown crosses my face as I observe the photo, remembering the day.

“That ones you?” he asks and I shake my head.

“That one.” I tell him pointing to the other.

“God, you could be twins.” I nod not saying anything, working my hardest to keep myself from getting emotional. “But I can tell the difference now, he looked at me and pressed the freckly just below my right eye brow. “That’s in the same place, and her eyes have a single colour.” I smile at the memory of her always getting jalousie of my eyes and telling me it was ugly and unmoral, I would go and cry to mum and she would come into my room later and apologies telling me she was joking. I take the photo from Louis’ fingers setting it aside to ask my mum if there’s another copy, so I can take it home, “And that’s Josh?” he asked and I nod and laugh.

“He was so cheeky when we were younger, he probably doesn’t remember but when I was nine, he was two, we were out the back, I was on the small swing set and he sat off to the side, he would throw hard clumps of sand from the sand pit under the cubby house and when it hit me he would look away.” I laugh slightly, “There was once I got angry and pushed him down into it, I got in trouble and sent to me room.” Louis laughs and I think it laughing at me not with me, because I got in trouble. We move thought the photos until my mum joins us telling Louis the spare room is ready whenever he want to go to bed, when she leaves he looks at me confused, I explain that my parents aren’t going to let us sleep in the same bed so after another hour of looking though photos he kisses me goodnight and heads up to the spare room.
