Fuck You Over

*Said I was a douche bag won't call back, worst hangover you ever had. Felt so good at first but you knew it would never last.*
I stared at the girl in the front seat. Was that really my only competition? I had to be up against something better than that, something more classy and less trashy perhaps?
"This is Violet, she goes to the high school down the road from ours." Ashton said smirking at me. I smiled and shook her hand.
"Hey, I'm Hunter. It's a pleasure to meet you." I said sitting back in my seat. Ashton stared at me questioningly before turning the car on.
"We're gonna make one more stop at my friend Luke's house real quick." He said to Violet. She nodded. Oh no, he knew he was on to me. I sighed heavily and did breathing exercises. I forgot about Luke's part in my plan. Pretend I wasn't madly in love with him… seems easy enough.

13-Creepy movies and Clichés

Life was slowly getting back to normal. Before any of us knew it we were sitting in Calum's car driving to the movie theater. I was wearing ripped black skinny jeans a crop top with a big red heart and one of Ashton's red flannels. I had a black bandana as a headband and I was also wearing bracelets along both arms and I was rocking a pair of red high tops that I bought days before. Anyways I was looking like a boss ass bitch.

As always.

In the car Cassie and Calum were talking about something and Ashton was just doing random stuff. Kissing my neck, playing with my hair, whispering naughty things in my ear. We had moved to a point in the relationship where sex was an option but we didn't take that step. Instead I listen as Ashton whispered things that made sex seem like heaven on earth in my poor inexperienced little ear. Sometimes I wished it wasn't just my ears he would whisper into.

"They are so grossly in love. It makes me want to puke." Ashton mumbled while I was tracing patterns on his clothed chest.

"I think it's cute." I smiled up at him. Ashton hadn't said he loved me again. Not saying he did but he didn't bring it up.

"Do you even like scary movie?" Ashton asked

"If you're implying that I'm scared then you're wrong." I said rolling my eyes. He chuckled and pressed his lips to my ear.

"I won't let the boogie man get you." He said staring at the window. He turned in and smirked at me before whispering, "He might get ideas."

I couldn't help but shiver at how his voice sounded against my skin. I didn't think I'd ever get used to it. To the sweet deepness of Ashton Irwin's beautiful voice.

"We have arrived." Calum said. I spotted Michael standing uncomfortably on the side of the movie theater.

"He's scared out of his shits." Ashton laughed. I swatted him and frowned. He rolled his eyes and placed his lips on mine one long time and then winked at me. We slid out of the car and walked over to the green haired boy who looked more like a kid then an 18 year old.

"Hey, they haven't gotten here yet." He said. We all nodded and made a circle so we could all be seen. We didn't really talk. Made lol

a few jokes and stayed in silence for the most part. Michael perked up when a red convertible pulled up to the curb. Out popped Camille and two of her friends. Her friends better know as the other couple. Well, they were gay. I think we all looked a little shocked there. It was as if we were parading around with two groups. The basic white people and minorities r us. Walking up to us was a blonde haired boy and a boy with dark brown curls. I looked at Michael who seemed like the only thing he wanted to do was shoot himself. Michael wasn't a big fan of gays. He didn't hate them but he pretended they weren't there. Or better yet that they were straight.

"Hey, I'm Camille and this is Harry and Niall." She smiled at us. We waved and mumbled hellos. Even Cassie was struck silent.

"You're Hunter Masters, right?" Niall asked. I looked at him nodding a little confused. Had I met either of them?

"Uh, yeah." I said focusing on their faces.

"You don't remember me?"

"Not even the slightest." I apologized. He chuckled.

"We played soccer together." He said. I then remembered. We didn't only play soccer. We also were dating. I can't even tell you how embarrassing it is to see the boy you dated being not into girls.

"Oh! Well um I see you've kept me in memory." I said. He chuckled looking over at Harry. Harry was staring at me for a very long time. Well then again so was everyone else.

"So off to the creepy ass movie we go." I said pulling Ashton into the movie theater. He wrapped his arm my waist and sighed tiredly.

"Did you already watch this movie?" I asked him.

"Yeah, sorry I couldn't help it." He said running his free hand down my arms. Ashton's words sometimes had a double meaning. I sighed and moved into him.

"I didn't know you played soccer." He whispered in my hair.

"Our team wasn't the best. It was a unisex team with douche bags and prissy bitches." I said.

"And Niall and you?"

"Were fortunate enough to find each other. We lasted two months."

"Then what happened?"

"He moved and I moved. Stopped playing soccer and I made new friends."

"Michael?" He asked.

"Kinda, Michael and I haven't been friends for long. Two maybe three years." I said. Ashton looked back and frowned.

"His boyfriend was staring a little to long." He muttered in my ear. I giggled internally. This was a whole new type of jealousy.

"Well in the end remember Harry can't touch this but you can." I smirked. He looked down at me shocked that my reply had been so implying.

"Are we going to get popcorn?" Cassie asked Calum. He nodded and we stood in line with them. Ashton took us to a different cashier. A red head female. I watched as she basically eye raped him and he didn't even notice.

"We'll have one popcorn and one large fry." He said smiling at me. I would've smiled back but my eyes were trained on the ginger, Amber, her name tag read. Amber nodded and smiled at him.

"Will that be it?" She asked.

"Anything else?" He asked me. I shook my head. He passed her his credit card and she read it smiling.

"Ashton's a hot name." She said.

"Amber isn't to bad either." He smirked at her. She giggled and twirled her hair around her finger. Was he serious? Was he serious? I watched as they talked while our food was being made.

"I'm just surprise someone as pretty as you doesn't have a boyfriend." Ashton said.

"Well, I'm always open to finding one." She hinted. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"I bet." He chuckled. A wave of relief washed over me as I saw our food arriving. Amber pulled up the receipt and scribbled something on it. She handed it back with his credit card and then smiled.

"You have fun now." She smiled at him. I glared at her and turned on my heels. I only now understood how Ashton felt when guys hit on me. And I had to admit he handled really well. When we walked into the theater with the other we sat at the very top. Next to us was Cassie and Calum. I was sitting in the last seat next to the wall.

"She was nice." Ashton says looking at the receipt. He chuckled before putting in his pocket.

"Yeah, a little too nice." I said pouting.

"Don't tell me your jealous." He said smiling at me.

"You were flirting with her. Right in my face." I said angrily.

"We were just talking."

"She was flirting with you. She was flirting and being cute and all and I was in the corner watching as my boyfriend flirted with the hot popcorn girl."

"I didn't think she was that hot."

"But you thought she was pretty." I said. The lights started to dim and the first preview went up.

"I'm supposed to be the only girl you think is pretty." I said.

"That's a bit selfish."

"Sorry, I didn't appreciate my boyfriend hitting on a hot flirty popcorn girl with red hair." I pouted sitting lower in my seat. I just wanted him to apologize and call her ugly. Is that bad I want to hear my boyfriend bash hot people?

"I don't think she's nearly as hot as you." He whispered in my ear. I willed myself not to react and when I didn't it was visible to Ashton. He sighed and watched the previews. The lights got darker and then the movie was on. A girl running in the woods crazily. Her foot got stuck and she was left to hop to her safety. What was this movie even about. A perfect family? I felt Ashton's hand on my knee. He was probably trying to make me feel safer. Even if I was mad at him I still hated scary movies. As the movie progressed Ashton had finally begun holding my hand. He was rubbing small circles on the back and I was watching as he scoot closer to me. Even with the barrier between us I could eerlook at any of them like I look at you. I promise." He whispered.

"I meant I wished that I could be as flirty and cute as all of the girls that we exist with."

"I think you're very cute and I can teach you how to flirt." He smiles at me.

"Flirting isn't something that is taught. You're either flirty or your not." I said. He chuckled to himself.

"So you don't want me to teach you?" He asks.

"Absolutely not." I said. I turned to the movie watching and munching on my fries. Of course I wanted to learn how to flirt. But I shouldn't learn that from my super hot and flirty boyfriend. I decided that I would call Cassie later and have her teach me. I felt Ashton's arm around my shoulder and he pulled me in close.

"First thing about flirting. Be suggestive." He hummed in my ear kissing my cheek. I blushed and hid my face in his shirt.

The movie was great. I mean I didn't really watch it in the beginning and towards the end I was making out with Ashton. But the parts I did see were great. Ashton was staying with me which was normal since my dad had long shifts on Saturdays. Results of Friday's mistakes he called them. We were sitting on my bed with the lights off talking. It was weird since most people do other things in the dark but I felt like it brought us closer. In the sense that hearing nothing but his voice was amazing.

"So, what are we doing tomorrow?" He asked.

"I don't know, let's do something spontaneous. Let's fly to Morocco." I said. He scoffed.

"What's down there?"

"Nothing, nobody I know. Just a place where starting over is the only thing you can do." I muttered into the darkness.

"Starting over." He mused. Ashton sighed heavily making my head go up with his body. I wished he would tell me what he was thinking.

"I have a question, were you actually jealous of the popcorn girl?" He asked. I huffed loudly showing my hate for this topic.

"Was it really because she was flirty?" He asked.

"No, it was mostly because you seemed so interested in her. It felt like I didn't even exist to you." I said.

"It's impossible for you to not exist to me. You're all I think about. I was just being nice." He said. Whether I was still jealous of Amber the popcorn girl or not I still had Ashton and more than anything that mattered.

"What did she write on the receipt?" I asked him curious.

"Her number." He said nonchalantly. Did he still not understand?

"Do you plan on calling her?" I asked a little hurt that he hadn't thrown it away the many chances he had.

"No, not necessarily." He said.

"Then why do you still have it?" I asked. He chuckled to himself. Was he seriously laughing?

"Does it bother you?"

"No, I don't care what girls number you have on your phone." Lie.

"Oh, no?" He asked amused. I was frowning. What was he playing?

"Nope, it doesn't bother me at all." Lie.

"Fine. Give me your phone." He said sitting up. He wiggled out and turned the light back on. I sat on the bed with my back on the wall.

"Why do you need my phone?" I asked him. He took his phone out of my pocket and handed it to me.

"I'm going to look through your conversation history and you contacts. If I find something that makes me upset I'll question you about. Same goes for you." He said. I sighed and handed him my phone. I looked through his contacts and read them off.

Ashton (home)

I stopped. Who was Claire? I looked through his phone history and he had mostly called me but unsurprisingly Violet was up there a few times. I frowned. Why was he still talking to her? They were having long 30 minute conversations. Two, three times a day.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing, I thought I heard something." I lied. I scrolled through and as if she was put on this earth for nothing more than to piss me the fuck off Violet's name popped up in a text. I handed Ashton his phone back and took mine. Something deep inside me scolded myself for being so insecure. Why did I feel like Violet was such a huge threat?

Probably because she was calling him all the time and the last time they were together they hooked up. I wish I was better prepared for situations like these. He laughed lightly at whatever she texted him and then handed his phone back to me. I pushed it away.

"Call whoever you want." I said smiling softly. I wanted to cry. Why did loving someone hurt so bad? Loving Ashton was now as undeniable as breathing.

You can hold your breath for awhile until you let go to breath the air.

Badly stated metaphor. But if Ashton wanted to flirt and be with other people the least I can do is stand back and pretend like it doesn't kill me. Since I was formerly on a mission to end him. Who would've thought that he would be the end of me. The end of all my sanity and consciousness.

"You aren't mad?"

"Am I supposed to be mad?" I asked. He sat for a second before answering.

"I'm not sure what's supposed to happen anymore."

"Nothing, something's are too good to be true."

"Is that so?"

"I can testify that in this twisted reality we live in. Some people choose to live out the fantasies even though it kills them in the end." I said. I was slowly killing myself and I knew in the end I would die so brutally that even Abraham Lincoln would raise up to pity me. Because he can tell you. Love is like being shot in the head. You don't see it coming until it hits you and your stuck wondering what to do now.

"So he's still in communication with Violet even though you don't like her?" Cassie asked as we laid on her floor. We were staring up at her ceiling and talking about the events of our night. I started with the thing that burned me the most.

"I don't think he knows I don't like her." I said

"Why would you like the girl he cheated on you with." I winced at the term cheated. Pouring alcohol on fresh wounds.

"Why can't we talk about my confession of love?" I asked whining.

"Did you tell him?"

"Ha! Are you serious!?" I asked her

"He can't read your mind. If you don't say it then he won't know." She said.

"I know, he can't even read when I'm flirting with him." I groaned.

"I have got to see you flirt." She said sitting up smiling.

"I look like a five year old when I flirt." I groaned.

"Well five year olds are cute."

"I just want to be as sexy and attractive as the girls he talks to at school and when he's playing basketball." I said.

"Maybe he doesn't want you to be like them." She shrugged.

"That might be a little to good to be true." I said.

"Why? He gets jealous all the time. He just doesn't apply it to you leaving." She said.

"Because I won't leave. I can't even fathom leaving him." I said

"You are so confusing. Are you mad, sad, happy?" She asked.

"I don't know. I just wish I had someone who could help me talk about these things. Ashton is no use." I said

"Tell Ashton. Say it really fast and if he asks you what you said. Shake your head and say you sneezed."

"Are you stupid?" I asked.

"Unless you've got better ideas." She shrugged.

"I do. Don't say anything and hope for the best." I said. She nodded and then hit my leg with her hand.

"Text him and if he says I love you back then you're good. But if he asks what, say you sent it to him on accident." She says.

"I'm just crazy enough to actually do that. And if it doesn't work then I suck at life."

"So basically you're going to go home and binge eat?" She asked.

"No, I do that anyways." I said rolling my eyes.

"He's going to feel the same way."

"How are you so sure?"

"Cliché aside I see the way he looks at you." She said.

"Maybe we could be a cliché and run away together."

"In a cliché you both would have said I love you already. You both would have had sex already and you both wouldn't have these horrible trust issues." She said. I sighed.

"We haven't even been on a date yet." I informed.

"Well maybe he wants to go all out for valentines day." She shrugged.

"Maybe. Or maybe he doesn't want to be seen in public with me. Both are very possible." I said.

"Do you wash his shirt?" She asks

"Yeah, why?"

"Well, if he didn't want to be seen in public with him. He wouldn't let you go around wearing his shirt." He said.

"It could be anyone's shirt."

"Exactly! You could be anyone's girl. But you're his." She says. I let it sink in. Maybe I was overreacting. So he thought Amber was cute and so what he liked talking to Violet. In the end I was dating Ashton and all the other girls were just there to anger me. Not any real threat just to make me question myself and feel insecure. Ashton was mine and I was his and that was all that mattered in the end.
