Journal Entries: 4th and 7th Grades

I have written many a journal entry in my life, but I only have records of my entries from 4th grade and 7th grade. I write for fun on Movellas, but here's some stories I had to write! Here's all my entries I've done in those grades! If you need help with a journal entry, or if you were just curious, here is my record.

11. Samuel Morse

Samuel Morse was born in Charles, Massachusetts on April 27, 1791. He was not a scientist, but a professor of artistry. He was educated at Phillips Academy at Andover. Samuel is remembered for his solution to the world: code-talking would do the trick.

Although Samuel got help, only he got the credit. The people who helped were Alfred Vail, Professor Leonard Gail, and F. O. J. Smith. The first message sent by his telegraph was chosen by Annie Ellsworth. Disagreements with Alfred led to litigation. He provided funds for the invention.

In 1847, Samuel built a mansion which is now the Morse Museum. In old age, Samuel became generous. For his 80th birthday, on June 10, 1871, he got a statue made of himself. Then he died less than a year later.
