The Big Book of Dragons

This is the Big Book of Dragons! The very book you need if you want to know all the dragons to know of!

Madouc and Secrets try to write about as many dragons as they possibly can, giving their names, their habits and behaviour, their environment; etcetera. All the dragons maybe from games, films, books or other forms of media, but these dragons certainly exist!

But perhaps if you have made and drawn your own dragon, then tell us about it and it shall become part of our guide!

21. 20 - Alduin

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Average dragon height of about 20m in length and stands 4 metres off of the ground. But when it comes to Alduin, his size is the least you should note.

I hate to even mention his name. "The World Eater" as most call him, he is the Nordic God of Destruction, the first born of Akatosh. Alduin is a dragon who is not evil by instinct like some other dragons, but his villainous trait comes out of arrogance. Alduin's peers considered him the most acclaimed creation of Akatosh and Alduin basked in the approval of the other dragons. And so, he and his followers dominated over mankind with tyrannical grip. For years they lead man to misery and hatred. So man wanted to fight back, and in an event known as The Dragon War, men rose up against the dragons. In this time, men learnt how to use the Voice and drove back the dragons. Thus, three brave warriors confronted Alduin on the Throat of the World, and shouted him forward in time using an Elder Scroll, making a Time Wound right up on top of the Throat of the World.
Later, Alduin reappeared at the execution of Jarl Ulfric and disrupted it, allowing Ulfric to escape. In Alduin's return, he wanted to plunge the race man into ruin but eating the souls of the dead in Sovenguard, the resting place of all heroic Nords. In this, the Dragonborn (Dovakiin) defeated him in Sovenguard and absorbed Alduin's soul, stopping him for good.

This vile dragon can breath enraging fire through Shouts. Powerful sorcery used in dragon language to project all kinds of fierce blasts. He can also call on a storm of meteors that drop over the area around him, destroying buildings, foes and terrain alike. He can too pass through dimensions, going through the land of the living to the land of the dead when he pleases.

How to kill:
Unless you are the Dragonborn, attempts to kill this beast are futile. Besides, he is long gone now. Or so is thought... Perhaps one day he may return. And who knows, perhaps you could be the next Dovakiin, destined to stop him once more.

Let us keep our heads up and hope that this brutal being may not return again, for otherwise we will all become slaves to the dragons once more.
But that is we can do... is to hope.
