Is Bad Boy Just My Type?

Mackenzie is a plain girl from New York, but during Senior Year she gets caught up in trouble and doesn't know how to get out!

"Get away from me!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I ran down the street. I felt the tears prickling my eyes and my lip quivering. Why did this have to happen to me? I shouldn't of ever trusted him when I first met him but I did and now look at me. "Mackenzie!" He shouted catching up to me. "Stop! It's done," I cried and kept running. "It's me," A voice softly said and I turned to see the person who was willing to help fix everything.

11. Chapter 11- Truth Be Told

It was now Thursday afternoon and here I am eating ice cream while gazing over Liam. I knew there was ice cream on my face but frankly I didn't care, I was too busy staring at Liam. Liam and his buddies were playing soccer outside of the school, and may I add it is a gorgeous sight. He was shirtless and the sweat was making his body shine, I feel like a creep.

I asked Kallie to come with me to watch but no she was too busy to hang out with me. James said it was weird if he watched with me because it was guys, I rolled my eyes at that.

"Hey babe," Liam said taking a shot of his water bottle. "Hi," I said raking my eyes down his body. "Like what you see?" He smirked when my eyes met his. "Being honest yes," I said blankly moving my ponytail to one side.

"Do you want to play with us?" Niall said coming up to the bench I was sitting on. "Oh uh I don't really play sports." I said awkwardly looking up at him. "It's easy come on," He said and pulled me up. I gave Liam a look but he just smiled and walked along.

"Okay me, Liam, and Mackenzie." Niall said to the others. They all nodded and walked across the field. "So what do I do?" I asked Liam with a hand on his shoulder. "Pass the ball to us or just kick it as hard as you can." He gave me a thumbs up.

I hate this already, I don't have a problem with sports it just I don't really play. I looked at each of the boys before we started, the sweat was visible on all of their faces probably on mine too. "Ready to get your ass kicked?" Zayn shouted over to me smirking. "In your dreams!" I yelled back kissing Liam's cheek right before it started.

Let me just say, these boys are intense players! Harry almost tackled me to get the ball. Louis kicked it right at me! It was like a centimeter from my face, never again. Liam said I did good but who is he kidding? I sucked so badly, my 85 great grandpa could play better.

Whenever I got the ball I just kicked it as hard as I could towards Zayn who was in net. He let one in so I would feel good, I hate when people do that though.

"I'll see you guys later," Liam said holding my hand tightly. It actually kind of hurt from his grip but I left it. "I need a shower," I groaned airing out my shirt. "Me too," Liam smiled at me. "Drop me off at home?" I asked when we got to the parking lot. "Yeah su-" He was cut off from someone behind us.

"Liam!" The man said cheerfully. I saw Liam's body tense turning to look at the guy. "Matt," He said nodding his head. "Haven't seen you in a while! Who is this pretty lady?" He smirked coming up to me. "None of your business." Liam snapped keeping his grip on me. "I think it is," Matt growled stepping closer to Liam towering over him. I sighed and kept my head down. "Just get out of here," Liam groaned and started to turn away but he was stopped. "We will be meeting again," He grinned and winked at me.

"Ew," I breathed but he heard and glared at me. I have to admit he did look fairly familiar but I can't think of anywhere I saw him.

"What the hell was that," I asked as soon as we got into Liam's truck. "Someone from before I moved," Liam sighed and started up his vehicle. "He looked like 20 at least." I said as we left. "22 actually," He corrected me and grabbed my hand again. "Okay," I ended the conversation as we drove to my apartment building.

"Dad you home?" I shouted slammed the front door closed. "Yep! In here," He shouted back from the kitchen. When I got into the kitchen Adam and my dad were sitting across from each other looking to be having a deep conversation. "What's going on here?" I asked raising an eyebrow at my dad. "Just talking bud," He said drinking his coffee. "Oh okay," I smiled and walked away from them.

I really didn't have plans tonight, I wanted to just sleep away the rest of the day but that wasn't my dad's plan for me. "Let's go out for dinner the 4 of us!" My dad said standing in my doorway. "Whyy," I whined glaring at him. "Because Adam is being all sad and I need to get him out! Now get ready take a shower you stink." My dad pretended to gag, I hit him in the arm before walking into the bathroom.

After I was ready I grabbed my phone and ran towards my dad almost making him lose balance. "Very funny Mack!" He laughed and shook me off. I saw my grandma smiling until she saw what I was wearing. "What?" I questioned looking at the three of them. "Oh nothing dear, just we are going to a diner not a McDonalds." She said sweetly walking out the door. I scoffed and put on my shoes before heading out with them.

My uncle decided he would drive instead of my dad, but once we were driving I think he regretted offering. My grandma was talking the whole time and scolding Adam when he went through a yellow light or if he was going over the speed limit. I love my grandma but I couldn't handle that while driving I'd get distracted and probably crash with my luck.

I had no clue in which Diner we were going to, there was too much so I think we picked one close to home. "You're driving home Ronny," Uncle Adam sighed and shook his head. Me and my dad both erupted into laughter while Adam held a scowl on his face.

When we arrived I noticed how busy this place actually was. I wasn't looking forward to this dinner might I add. I knew it would consist of my dad and Adam arguing over sports and my grandma scolding them while I sat quietly. "Mackenzie what will you be eating?" My dad asked me smiling widely. "My favorite," I stated smiling slightly. "Of course kiddo," He smiled and ordered my food for me.

I felt like a baby when he did that but I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone but my family right now. "What is your favorite?" My grandma asked sipping her wine. "Mashed potatoes." I said looking into her eyes. "Oh," She said with a hint of disgust on her face.

Ever since I started wearing my own clothes again my grandma hasn't been being very nice. I knew why, it was because of her step-daughter who's daughter was I quote 'Her dream granddaughter.' It didn't hurt my feelings because I wouldn't want to be like her, she was a total bitch and thought she was hot shit which she isn't.

Her boyfriend is amazingly nice and I don't see how they are even together! He was always nice to me, we actually became pretty good friends until she told him to not to talk to me. She was controlling and I knew for sure we weren't related which is how I like it. I sighed deeply before looking around to see if my food was coming anytime soon.

"What are you thinking about?" Adam nudged me while stuffing his face. "Oh nothing," I grinned and dug into my potatoes. "So do you want to go to the beach house this weekend?" My dad asked us and we all nodded eagerly. I loved going here, it helped release my stress and relax for a weekend.

When we got home, I was actually pretty tired and decided it was best to rest it off. So that's what I did, I took a quick shower and got into a big shirt crawling into bed. I send Liam a quick goodnight text message before I started to fell myself drifting into a sleep.

*Sorry it has been awhile. But here you go! I hope you enjoy it, and sorry that it is short. -Courtney*
