1. Chapter 1

Emily's POV

I twist my ring around my finger, laying on my bed. Everything was so complicated. Just one more month Emily. I think to myself. Hang in there. I feel a soft kiss behind my ear and I turn around, immediately smiling at Bobby. I just couldn't help it. He was too cute. His hair was ruffled by my hands, and his arms rested protectively around my waist. I kiss him once. "Baby you gotta leave before my parents come in and see you here." I sit up and stretch. He pulls me back down next to him. "Let them see." He whispers, making me close my eyes. An extra hour with Bobby sounded perfect. I push him away. "They don't like you already for marrying me in the first place, they don't need another reason." He sighs and kisses my forehead. "I'm tired of this." He groans, throwing his arm over his face. I pull it away gently to see his troubled blue eyes. "One more month Bobby. Then you can be in my bed for as long as you want, whenever you want." I kiss his hand. He pulls me down again and I snuggle against his chest. He intwines his hand with mine. "Mmm that sounds nice." I laugh and get up again, slapping him on the side of his head. "Get out of here. Your clothes are in your car down the street. Pretend you're picking me up." He flashes me a thumbs up and I go to take a shower. When I come out, I'm surprised to see him still sitting on my bed, rubbing his thumb over a picture. I clap my hand over my mouth to contain my screams. "Bobby!" I giggle. "You need to leave!" He makes a face. "But you look cute in a towel." He tugs on the bottom and I slap his hands away, pointing at the window. "I'll see you in the car!" He rolls his eyes and kisses my forehead before crawling out the window and a soft thud when he hits the ground. Bobby insisted that he'd sleep at my house instead of me at his. He didn't want me to hurt myself when I got down. I dry off and change into black shorts and a white and black striped top. I pull my hair in a ponytail and walk downstairs. My parents were eating silently and I'm about to grab a cereal bar and bolt when I see my parents looking at me. "Emily......honey are you sure?" My mom asks for the umpteenth time, making me groan. "Yes mom, I want to marry him. I love Bobby." She goes back to cutting apples, muttering something under her breath. "Emily, this is a commitment we're talking about here." My dad says gently. "I'm marrying him and there isn't one thing you two can do to change that!" I yell, grabbing my backpack and stomping out the door. It seemed like I was angry all the time these days. Bobby's waiting for me and I leap into his arms, hugging him tightly. I could see my parents stare at us, and I use my best, "I'm in love" face. Just to make them angrier, I loop my arms around his neck and kiss him. His hand squeezes my waist and I laugh. He opens the door and helps me in. As I turn to put on my seatbelt I see my parents still watching us. I glare and shake my head just as Bobby takes off, gladly leaving them in the dust.
