I Don't Belive In True Love

Raven Quinn, sister of Kellin Quinn, doesn't believe in true love. Her heart was broken by a boy called Dougie Poynter. Ever since then, she has doubted everything. Love. Happiness. Hope. Her brother tried to cheer her up, he was the closest thing she had to a real family. Like Kellin, she came from a broken home. She has toured with him, but when she discovers a new band on the block, will her life turn around?

7. "I'm not a person who judges."

Vic walked me to his car. When I got out of the house, I felt someone staring at me. I looked to my right. I saw a boy. Around my age. He had curly hair, I couldn't tell what colour because it must've been midnight. He smiled at me, and I returned it. He moved forward, into a street light. His hair was a mousey brown and his eyes a green/brown colour. I told Vic to put my bags in the car and walked up to this mysterious boy.

"Hi." I smiled

"Hey." He looked at me. I felt insecure, like he was judging me. I moved away a little but he moved forward even more.

"Hey, no need to feel insecure. I'm the kind of person that doesn't judge." He smiled a reassuring smile.

"Are you sure." I said, a little shaky.

"Positive." I could tell he wasn't from around here. He sounded a bit Australian? "Anyway. I'm Ashton. Ashton Irwin." He held his hand out for me to shake it.

"Raven. Raven Quinn." I grabbed his hand and shook it.

"You're Kellin Quinn's sister, right?"

"Yeah. I better go now Ashton. You have no idea what tours are like." I laughed.

"Wait, before you go, can I get your number. Maybe, when you're in Sydney, we can hang out." He suggested. I gave him my phone to put his number in and he gave me his.

"Goodbye Ashton."

"Goodbye Raven."
