When You Gonna Realize. || l.h.

They had been best friends since birth. But when Abby starts to develop feelings for Luke, she isn't sure how to handle it. Should she risk their friendship for some feelings that he may not return? Or just keep quiet?

3. Absolutely Angelic.

As the night dragged on, more and more people left. My mom had to leave around 10 to go to cover for someone at work so That meant that I would be left alone tonight. After Luke's family left, all that was left was Luke, Ashton, Michael, Calum, and I.

After no convincing at all, the boys agreed to stay the night and watch movies with me. Luke of course picked out Mean girls. As the opening credits were rolling across the screen, I got up to make us some popcorn and get some other snacks.

I unwrapped the popcorn package and started the microwave. As I walked past the doorway, I could hear the boys talking about some girl. Michael whispered to Luke, "when are you gonna finally grow a pair and make a move?" Before he could answer, Calum replied "cause if you don't somebody else will." Luke finally started to form the words, "Mate, I don't know. She probably doesn't feel the same way. I mean, she-"

At that moment, the microwave started to ding, indicating that the popcorn was done. I hurried to grab the hot bag, immediately regretting it, as I burnt my hard. "Ouch!" I yelled, and Luke came running in the kitchen to see what happened. When he saw me on the floor with popcorn laying all over the counter, he started laughing.

"This isn't funny, I burnt my hand," I said to him while frowning. He helped me off the ground, and when I looked up, There was no space between us. He lifted my hand to his mouth and kissed where I had preciously burned it. "All better ma' lady?" He asked, looking into my eyes.

After staring at each other for about 2 whole minutes, the boys started yelling for us to bring the food. Luke poured the popcorn into a few bowls, and grabbed some candy, and I grabbed the drinks.

After waddling back to the couch, careful not to drop anything. I sat down next to Luke. About halfway through the movie, my head was laid on his lap. His arms were draped around me. I traced patterns on the back of his free hand, while his other one was tangled in my hair.

I looked up at his face to see the look of pure concentration plastered across his features. His hair was in perfect quiff. His bright blue eyes were locked on the television screen, while the corners of them were slightly wrinkled. His mouth was slightly parted as his tongue quickly darted out to wet his tender lips. His lip ring was lightly reflecting the light.

I tried to pealed my eyes away, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. He looked absolutely angelic. And I wished that moment would never end.

I think I am falling for him.

My best friend.
