Louis Tomlinson is perfect, but just like everybody else he's unreachable.

Dina is a lonely, shy girl, dreaming about a different live. Louis is the complete opposite. He seems to have everything, or is that just what everyone believes?

1. Chapter 1

'Should I walk home with you? I can understand if you don't want to be alone now.' I look at Emily, my only friend in this entire world. She looks at me concerned, she's always concerned. But how can I blame her? How would you look at your friend if she was the biggest loser of the school.

'Alright, I'll see you tomorrow Dani.' She smiles at me and walks away. To her other friends. Emily has friends, she's not extremely popular, but she doesn't mind. But me, girls don't like me because they think I'm weird.. and a slut. I'm not, not at all, I can't help that the boys only like me for my ass. Every girl wants to be popular, but I don't like it at all. It's not funny when guys are whistling at you all the time, but don't make an effort to get to know you.

I continue walking, away from that stupid school. Back to my stupid family. I guess I'll just lock myself up in my room and listen to music, just like I always do. Behind me there are voices. That's a sign for me to hide in the first alley I can find. Those voices are from bad people, guys who like harassing girls, including me. That's why Emily was concerned.

I was just standing in the hallway, putting stuff back in my locker when they saw me. Daniel, Mike and Mo. They pushed me against the lockers and..well they did things. They said things that scared me. And now they are only a few meters away from me. I walk backwards, slowly, hoping they won't see me. The pass the alley without noticing me. I sign and lean against the wall. 'Thank God, that was close.' I whisper before leaving the alley, looking around me carefully.

I decide to run the last part of my way home. It's only two blocks away and not much later I stop at my front door. I get the key out of my pocket and open it. 'Hello?' I call out and wait for answer. Nobody. Apparently there's nobody home. My little brother Jaymé , must be in school.

I walk to the kitchen and open the fridge. I get out some Ice Tea and get myself a glass. I drink it, sitting on the counter. Do I have any homework? No, I finished it in class. Good, then I can read.

I love reading, everything with letters in it is good for me. I'm currently reading Harry Potter. For the 10th time, I think. But I just love it.

I spend the rest of the day reading and imagining about how it would be to live in Hogwarts. It must be awesome. Whenever someone is mean to you, you can just transform them into a snail, or a frog.

I get my unused phone out of my pocket. The only texts I ever get are from Emily, Jaymé and my mum. This time there are no new messages. I scroll though my twitter. I reckon I have some friends in the internet. There I write stories, imagines. People enjoy reading them. I hear the front door open, that should be my mum. 'Dani?' Yes, that's my mum. 'Come and help me!' I sign and get out of my comfortable position on my bed.

'Coming.' I always try to stay nice to her, than she's nice to me too. But usually she's a bitch. 'Where's your brother?' I walk downstairs, shrugging. 'I don't know.'

'Put this in the fridge.' She hands me some food and a bottle of Coke. I don't even bother looking at the rest of the food. I place it in the fridge and return to the hall. 'Anything else?' My mum shakes her head. 'No.' With that I run upstairs back to my room.

It's 10 PM when I look at my watch. Let's get to sleep, I think to myself. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth quickly, then I change into my pjs and lie down in my bed. It doesn't take me long to fall asleep, dreams flashing through my mind.

The next morning I wake up by the sound of my alarm. 7 AM. I always try to wake up early, so I can get used to being awake. I'm not really a morning person, that's why I try to avoid my family in the morning. I go to the bathroom and jump into the shower. I decide not to make it too long. I want to have breakfast before my mum comes downstairs. After 5 minutes I get out and go back to my room. There I look in my wardrobe. I get out some blue shorts and a white top. I quickly apply some make up and brush my hair before I go downstairs. My brother's sitting at the table, on his phone. 'Morning.' He looks up from his phone and smiles at me. 'Hi.'

He looks at my shorts. 'You really think we're in Spain, right?' I look down to and shrug. 'Well, you need to enjoy it before it's gone little brother.' He rolls his eyes. He doesn't like it when I call him that. But he is my little brother. He's fourteen, 2 years younger than me.

I go to the kitchen en make myself some cereal and a coffee. 'So, any plans for today?' I ask Jaymé while sitting down beside him. He shrugs. 'Not really. You?' I shake my head. 'You know, you can always come with me. My friends kinda like you.' He raises an eyebrow. I always try to hide from my family that I have no friends, but I think he knows it. He goes to the same school as me so he must have noticed something. But he's a good kid. 'Maybe, but your friends scare me.' I chuckle. He has typical fourteen years old friends. Just a little weirder. 'Anyways, I got to go.' He stands up. 'Bye.' 'Bye, Jay.' I hear the familiar click of the front door, and check my watch. It's 8 AM.

What else do I need to do? I try to remember if I forgot something while walking back upstairs to get my books.

I step outside and let the warm August sunshine fall on my face. It has never been so warm in August, in London. I love it. Everything seems so much better in the summer, people look happier and the city is brighter. I miss the summer holidays. This year I went to Spain for two weeks. When we're on holiday I feel so much better. I can be myself and I don't have enemy's. I walk slowly through the quiet streets breathing in the fresh morning air. In a few minutes I will be locked up in school for the rest of the day.

I spend my day in school looking out of the window and counting down the minutes until I can go home. When the bell rings I'm the first one to step out of class and I quickly walk to my locker. Daniel and Mo must be in class, since they have one more hour. I don't where Mike is, I haven't seen him today. 'He, girl. What are you thinking about?' I turn around quickly, not realizing there was someone standing behind me. Luckily I find that it's Emily. 'God, you scared me.' I chuckle nervously. 'He, maybe we can hang out today?' I ask her hopefully, I'm not planning on spending the rest of the day alone. 'Sorry, I'm going shopping with my mum.' She checks her phone. 'I need to go, she's waiting for me outside.' She gives me a quick hug and leaves, letting me stand in the hallway disappointed. I guess that means I have to go with my brother and his friends.

I take my phone out and put earphones in while I walk outside.

I put on my favourite summer song, Summer paradise, and sing along quietly.

'He baby where are you going!' I turn off my music and look around, startled. I didn't realize Mo and Daniel followed me out of school. What are they doing here? As if they know what I'm thinking they explain. 'We skipped class just for you babe.' I give them a hard stare and walk on quickly, hoping they will leave.

I feel a strong hand around my arm and Daniel spins me around. 'Leaving so soon?' 'Let me go.' I try to free myself, but Daniel holds my arm tight. He chuckles. 'I didn't think so.' He suddenly pushes me and I fall down in the grass, painfully grabbing my arm. He sits down in front of my, Mo standing behind him. 'So when are you finally going to give up your innocent image?' He grabs my chin. I try to avoid gaze. 'Look at me!' He scares me, but I don't listen.

'Let her go.' Out of nowhere a voice speaks. A frighteningly familiar voice. The owner of the voice steps forward and my thoughts are confirmed. Right beside Mo is standing the most beautiful boy you will ever see. The familiar voice was from Louis, Louis Tomlinson. One of the most popular boys in school. Too popular to talk to me, ofcourse. But he's a nice boy and smart.

Daniel pushes me down again and stand up. 'What do you want, Tomlinson?' He walks over to Louis. 'I want you to leave her alone.' His blue eyes locked on Daniel's.

It remains quiet, and I don't move afraid of what Daniel will do if I try to escape. So I just sit there watching how Louis walks away from Daniel. For one second I think Daniel wants to attack Louis, but he doesn't. 'Come on, we have better things to do.' He beckons Mo to come with him and they leave.

I don't move until Louis reaches out his hand. I take it slowly and he helps me up. 'Are you alright?' He looks at me concerned. I nod, rubbing my arm. 'You should really tell someone about this.' He gestures to the direction Daniel and Mo went. I shake my head, to scared to talk to Louis. He shrugs. 'Ok, your choice.' He smiles at me. 'I need to go. My girlfriend is waiting for me, she wants to go shopping.' He chuckles and looks at his hands.

His shitty girlfriend', Monica, is waiting for him. That girl is pure evil, if I can say that. She thinks she's better than anyone else in school. I don't understand why Louis would date someone like her. 'Ok, I'll guess I see you later, Dina.' He walks backwards. I hold my breath. 'How do you know my name.' He doesn't respond, he just grins at me still turning around and walking away. 'Louis?' I call out to him. He turns around raising an eyebrow. 'T-Thank you.' I stutter. He grins again and turns around jogging away.

I let myself fall on the grass and close my eyes, laughing to myself. On that moment I couldn't be happier. Louis talked to me. And not just that, he saved me from those idiots. At least, for this time. I take out my phone and scroll down until I'm at Emily's number.

The phone rings a few times. 'Hello?' 'Em, you won't believe what just happened.'

And I tell her the story, still lying in the warm grass.

Another story I started a while ago. Tell me what you think
