Loved By A Vampire? (Sequel To Loved By A Vampire?)

“W-what is this?” I said tears brimming in my eyes. Suddenly Louis took a step forward and kneeled on the ground.

“Jealyn Hope Chris, I’ve been in love with you since the day I laid eyes on you, will you do me the honors of being my girlfriend?” I could feel the tears start to stream down my face and I was speechless.

“Louis William Tomlinson, I would be honored to be your girlfriend!”

27. Chapter 25

                                  Chapter 25

As I walk down the familiar street I couldn’t help but get an uneasy feeling. Like something was bound to happen. I just shrugged it off and continued down the familiar road. Until finally I stopped at a familiar place. A place that I had at one point called home. The place I had lived all my life. A place that had brought so many memories. Some memories that weren’t even worth remembering. But nonetheless I walked up the familiar driveway until reaching the front door. Checking to make sure the cost was clear I quickly pulled out my spare key before pushing it into the lock. And with one swift move the door had begun to open.

As soon as the door had swung open I hesitantly stepped inside. I could feel my breath hitch at the familiar scenery. The same scenery that at one point in time I wanted nothing more to escape. But now, I wished for nothing more than to just embrace it and never leave it again. But I knew just as well as anyone that wasn’t an option.

As my eyes scanned the room they landed on something. A picture. This picture happened to have been taken only months before my kidnapping. The only thing different about it is I’m no longer apart of it. It’s as if I had been cut out of it. I wanted to deny my theory’s but little cut marks just proved my theory to be correct. But why would they just cut me out like that? Don’t they care for me anymore? In fact, now that I think about it all my pictures had been removed. It’s as if I’d never even been here before! With that thought I immediately speed up the stairs to the room that had once belonged to me. But as I entered I was greeted by a total different room.

My once blue walls were now painted a simple white color. The once turquoise bed sheets were now replaced with an ordinary white comforter. The millions of poster and pictures that had once lined the walls were no replaced by simple mirrors and paintings. Where had all my stuff gone? Were they trying to forget about me? It looks as if I had never existed!

Without another glance I ran out of the house and began running down the street. I kept running and running until finally I ran into something. Or should I say someone.

“Oh my gosh I am so sorry!” The person I had ran into exclaimed. But as I looked up I couldn’t help but let out a gasp. Not only had I managed to totally ruin the persons shirt but I had managed to run into someone who happened to be very important to me. Ladies and gentlemen I introduce to you my older younger brother Jayden Chris everyone!

“I-um, no it’s my fault really. I should have been watching where I was going,” I said, faking a perfect british accent. Well, I guess it wasn’t really faking considering my American accent is beginning to fade. I mean it’s still there just not as thick as it use to be.

“Hey, do I know you from somewhere? You look kind of familiar,” he said, causing panic to fill inside of me.

“Um, no I don’t think so why? Where do you think you know me from?” I asked, lying right through my teeth.

“I don’t honestly know. I want to say school or something but that’s obviously not it considering the accent…” He trailed off. I just shrugged in response.

“Anyways, you seemed to be in a hurry. Any specific place you were headed to?” He asked, I only shook my head not knowing what else to do.

“No, but what about you? You’re dressed fairly nice,” I asked, noticing his dress clothes. Which if you know anything about my brother you know he wouldn’t be caught dead in anything formal. Then again, he’s never been this polite before either. Gosh, what happened to my brother? It kind of makes me wonder how much Josh or my parents have changed.

“Oh, I was just on my way to visit my sisters grave. She was kidnapped almost a year ago,” He said, and I swear I just saw a tear escape his eyes.

“A-are you crying?” I stuttered out, as I felt my heart break into a million pieces. I mean how could it not? I’m watching my own brother cry over me! The worse part is I know there’s nothing I can do about it. Nothing at all.

“I-um, ya. I’m sorry, I just miss her a lot. In fact, you remind me a lot of her,” he said, causing me to give him a light smile.

“Tell you what. How about we go visit your sister together? And on the way there you can tell me a bit about her?” I suggested, causing a small smile to appear on his face.

“Ya ok, I’d like that,” He said, causing me to smile. He soon grabbed my hand, flinching slightly at my cold touch.

“Are you cold?” He asked a bit bewildered. I only shook my head confusing him even more.

“Then why do you feel so cold? You literally feel like ice!” He exclaimed, I only flinched and pulled my hand away from his.

“Look, can we please not talk about this?” I snapped. And although I didn’t mean to I couldn’t help it. This is still a touchy topic for me and I’m still not use to the whole vampire thing.

“I’m sorry,” I whispered quietly. He only gave me a weak smile.

“It’s alright, I guess it’s just a touchy subject,” He said, and continued leading me down towards the cemetery. And before I knew it we were standing amongst the millions of graves. But this one was different. How it was different? Simple. This one had MY name on it. Although, it was slightly disturbing to be staring down at your own tombstone. It’s not exactly anything anyone wants to do. Then again, these people think I’m dead. Which, I guess in a way I kind of am. Just not in the way their thinking.

“You know, everyone thinks she’s dead. That someone out there had gone as far as ending her life. But you want to know something? I think that somewhere out there she’s alive. Alive and healthy. I know it’s crazy but I just have this feeling ya know?” He rambled, I only nodded my head along as he did so.

“And why is it you think that?” I questioned, knowing whatever feeling inside of him telling him I’m alive is true. In fact it was more than true. While these people are here grieving over me I am in fact good and healthy. And as sad as it is to admit I’m happy. Happier than I’ve ever felt in years. Is it wrong to feel this way? I mean I finally have a place where I feel I belong! I love my family and all but whenever I’m with them I always felt so distant. As though that isn’t where I belonged. I never really understood why until now.

“I don’t know, a gut feeling I suppose. Although, as soon as I laid eyes on you there was this feeling inside as if I’ve met you before. And that gut feeling inside kept getting stronger and stronger. So, tell me this Jealyn. Where have you been hiding all this time?” He questioned, causing my eyes to widen.

“H-how did you-”

“Cut the crap Jealyn. I’m your brother, I’ve known you since birth! Although I will admit, at first I couldn’t figure it out. Ya know, with the accent the hair and the pregnancy and all. But then your accent began to slip and I immediately knew it was you. So, where were you? Why didn’t you just come home?” He questioned, I only sighed knowing I had a whole lot of explaining to do.

“Well, it all began at a concert…”

A/N You guys are going to kill me for leaving a cliffhanger I know. But it'll all be worth it I promise. Anyways, she finally got to see her brother again! Yay, happy ending right? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
