Halfbreed: Destiel's Daughter

Eleanor is no ordinary teenager. First, she's a Winchester, that should say it all. But there's so much more... She's been killing the supernatural her whole life, and by 17 years old, she thinks she knows everything, except, she still doesn't know that angels exist. Funny, considering that one of her fathers is Castiel, an angel of the Lord...

A/N Updating just in time for the season 10 premiere! ;)

Dean's Pov

She was dead. She died in my arms, my baby. Only 18. I gripped her to my chest, letting the sobs take over. Castiel moved to take her cold hand in both of his. He placed a gentle kiss to the back of her hand, then kept it at his face, shoulders shaking in rhythm with mine. We sat there for what felt like eternity.

The thing that broke through my consciousness was a huge bang. Then more, faster and louder. It was coming from where Sam stood. I turned to look at him. He was using all his strength to keep the burned door shut.

“Demons!! They're trying to break in!” He shouted. Cas stood up, preparing to fight. I didn't move.

“Let them in.” I said, broken. I was doing what my daughter hadn't, what she never would have done. I was giving up.

“Dean, we have to get out of here.” Cas encouraged me to stand with him.

“No, take Sam and get out of here. Let them get me. Hell, they can't kill me. I wish they could...” I replied.

“I won't leave you here! Dammit Dean, our daughter just died and you want Sam and I to just go?!!” Cas exclaimed. I didn't have anything I could say to that... All I knew was that I wanted to be done.

Sam let out a strangled cry when the door burst behind him, there were too many. They were surrounding us, on every side. Their eyes were filled with blood lust. And then, something weird happened... Eleanor's chest, her heart, began to glow. Bright gold. It got brighter and brighter as every being in the room watched, surprised and terrified. Soon her whole body was engulfed, and then the light exploded.

Eleanor remained in my arms, but the light that came from her blew out around us, moving in one huge wave. It obliterated every demon (except yours truly). They were all just gone. I felt my eyes grow wide as Sam, Cas, and I stared at each other, searching for answers. My gaze was torn from Cas when the body in my arms shifted. My head snapped down. Eleanor... Every one of her wounds was gone, and I could watch her stomach move up and down as she breathed. I could hear her heartbeat. She was alive.

“She's alive! Cas! Sammy! She's alive!!” I bursted. I couldn't remember a time when I'd felt more happy. My baby was okay, and we were going home.

“The bunker.” Cas suggested, I nodded and then I was gone. Cas and Sam would follow. We'd stopped staying at the bunker when El was only two, because the demons found us. Now, we risked it, to settle down for a while. I arrived just outside the building, holding Eleanor tightly to my chest. Cas and Sam were next to me after only a few seconds.

“We can put her in her old bedroom.” Sam smiled. Cas and I smiled too. It was kind of funny how our smiles were paired with red, puffy eyes...
