Saving Her

He came out from the shadows, with that familiar sweet voice. I knew from that moment there was something about him. Now I can't let go, not ever.

3. Engaging With The Enemy

I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Guilt was covering my face better than my foundation was, Justin was in my head. He'd practically been all I was thinking about the entire night. There's just something about this boy that makes me wanna know more about him. I finally finished brushing through my hair and moved towards my bed as my phone made a noise on the sheets. I flopped onto the bed and noticed I had a text from a number that wasn't saved.

Unknown Number:

It sure is hard to get one of the most known girls in the whole cities number, Damn;)

Scarlett:

What? Who are you?

Unknown Number:

Bieber:) Better save my number ay;) Save it as something cute I beg x

With that, I rolled my eyes and finally saved him into my contacts.

Scarlett:

Done, feel better yet? You're officially a contact;) x

Justin: Well good, wanna come outside? It's kinda freezing on your balcony;)x

I moved over towards the double doors and opened them to reveal Justin standing there, pushing his phone into his pocket.

"Come in?" I said in a slightly confused tone as he moved inside as sat down on my sofa in the corner of the room. "How did you even get up here?"

"I have my ways baby girl." He laughed as I just blushed a little. "You're not mad I'm a Bieber then?"

"Why would I be?"

"You're a Martinez..."

"My feelings know no boundaries..." I stared down at the floor and then made eye contact with him.

"That was actually why I'm here. I know it sounds ridiculous, but you've been in my head from the moment I met you. Do you think we could maybe go out some place?" I watched him play with his fingers in an awkward motion.

"Of course, I'd love to." I smiled causing him to look up with joy. "It's not gunna be easy."

"Things worth having aren't always easy. I fight for what I want... I want you, Scarlett."

I watched him lean in as I did the same. Finally our lips met. It was like fireworks, and sparks and everything just felt so right I couldn't even express my happiness. I felt myself subconsciously smile against his lips just before we pulled apart.

"Wow." I smiled as I heard footsteps coming upstairs.

"Scarlett, I need a word..." Mother shouted walking across the hall.

"In the bathroom, now!" I whispered pushing Justin into the bathroom and closing the door behind him.

"Come in." I said in my most innocent voice.

"It's about earlier this evening. I've been informed that you were engaging in a conversation with a boy..." Mother interrogated.

"So? Am I not allowed to talk to anyone these days?" I'll admit I was being extra sassy tonight, purely because my crush was standing in my bathroom listening to the conversation.

"Scarlett, watch who you're talking to. I've been told it was Justin Bieber." She glared at me as I stared at the floor. "I forbid you to have any contact with this boy! He's trouble!"

"Contact? I bumped into him in a lift, I haven't brought him into my life at all, so please can you stop lecturing me." I grabbed a random top in my left hand. "Now if you don't mind, I'm trying to change..."

She got the message and left in a hurry closing the door behind her just as Justin moved out of the bathroom.

"Woah, we're not even dating yet and you're already denying me? I'm hurt baby." Justin joked as I just giggled quietly.

"Shut up." I smiled as I reached my hand out as he grabbed it. "You should go..."

"I know, I just don't want this moment to end..." He pulled me in for a hug as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Neither do I, but we'll have plenty more like this. I know we will." I smiled as I moved away from him. "I'll meet you tomorrow."

"Until then, beautiful." He smiled kissing me softly as I got into bed. "Sleep tight baby." With that, he walked out onto the balcony and closed the doors.
