Falling For You

Matt Healy, your typical guy. The type that likes to impress people, he'd do anything to get attention.

No matter how important the next few years ahead were, he didn't care. All he cared about was writing.

By writing, I don't mean the author type. I mean the singer, songwriter. He'd always had a thing for writing songs.

Obviously, he was one of the popular guys in the university he was now attending.

He'd taken a variety of subjects and courses for the few years he'd be spending in this place, one of the main ones being music.

At first, he thought the whole idea of attending a university was ridiculous, he didn't think that he'd get anything out of it.

It all begins to change when the year starts and he meets new people. He makes new friends, and enemies, but there's a certain person that catches his eye.

5. chapter five

Matt's POV;

"Seriously, Matthew. What do you want?" Her voice was becoming more and more frustrated every time she'd speak to me.

"I just thought I'd come and say hi, you know. Maybe consider making friends with you, I mean, let's be honest, you don't have many here do you? Callan doesn't seem like the type you'd be friends with." I laughed, imagining them two actually being friends.

Callan is so different to Tegan. Tegan's the one that gets offended by one word whereas Callan just laughs it off and ends up giving you shit back.

Tegan's the type that wears casual clothes, obviously because of how she's been brought up by her family. Callan on the other hand, she's the dress, shorts and crop tops type of girl.

Callan seems like the girl that'd try getting attention off everybody but Tegan, she doesn't care about the attention.

"And you really think I'd be friends with you? Have you seen yourself?" She scoffed, looking me up and down, examining my clothes and frowning.

"You're wearing ripped jeans and a plain white tshirt and that cigarette isn't hidden very well." She scoffed.

"Babe, listen. You can either try and be friends with me or you can be alone for the next few years that you're spending here because I'm telling you now, with an attitude like that, you won't make friends. What does it matter what people wear, Tegan? People express themselves by their clothing." I tell her, it's the truth. The way she's acting is so ridiculous.

"You and I wouldn't make good friends, we'd end up wanting to murder each other. Well, I'd want to murder you." She smiled, a proper smile this time.

"Honestly, I don't think you would. If you got to know me properly, I reckon we'd be really good friends." I mirror the smile on her lips.

I noticed her looking behind me, I turned around to see a figure standing there, glaring at me and then smirking at her.

"What the fuck is your problem?" I questioned, he was really starting to wind me up now.

He didn't reply, he just smirked at Tegan again, turning around and walking away.

"You really need to control your anger." She smirked.

"Considering you're the posh type, you just smirked at me and you're being very sarcastic." I winked.

"Be quiet Matthew." She laughed.
