30 Days with Luke Hemmings

They met;
They were the best of friends;
They fell in love;
And they're never going to see each other again.

14. Day Thirteen

The sun shone through Luke's curtain-less window, causing Celeste's eyes to flutter open.

At first she was shocked to be facing Luke's bare chest. Fear struck her, did they sleep together? She didn't know.

A few moments later, Luke woke up with a smile on his face.

"Morning," he mumbled, happy to be waking up next to her.

"Morning," she smiled.

"It was an epic night," he chuckled and her eyes widened.

Shit, we had sex, she thought.

"Did we- we like- have sex?" She stammered.

Luke laughed at her innocence, "no, Cel, we didn't. You were just drunk out of your mind and we came back to my place," he said casually. "And if we did have sex, Celeste, you'd be naked."

Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment, "sorry," she mumbled.

"Its alright," he chuckled.

"Oh my God, my mum's going to-"

"I texted her last night, she said it was fine," Luke said and she let out a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness, she thought.

"So what do you wanna do today?" He asked.

"I don't know, what do you wanna do?" she asked him back.

"I asked you first," he argued, a smirk appeared on his face and she rolled her eyes.

"Oh, I know!" She exclaimed. "We can go to the library!"

Celeste cocked a brow, "the library? Are you serious?"

"Yeah- ow!" She exclaimed, rubbing her temples. "My head hurts so bad right now.

"Its the hangover," he chuckled. "You had a shit load of alcohol."

"You didn't stop me?" She pouted.

"Trust me, I tried." He laughed. "Why don't we hit the library at noon? I think its around 9 am, your hangover will die down by then."

"Thought you wouldn't wanna go to the library," she raised a brow.

"I really don't care where we go, Cel. As long as I'm with you." He blurted out, accidentally.

She couldn't believe what she just heard because that was the loveliest thing a boy's ever said to her. She felt something, not only the stupid headache but something in a stomach. Butterflies. He gives her butterflies.

"I'm gonna take a shower, alright? Rest," he said before he got up and left for the bathroom.

"Alright, now lets go hit the science books shall we?" He asked teasingly.

"Right, as if I'd ever go there," she scoffed. "Lets go to the poetry section."

She grabbed a hold of Luke's hand and led him to the area where she spent most time at whenever she's here.

"I love these, all of these," she said.

"I never knew you were the type to read poetry."

"There's a lot about me that you don't know, Lucifer," she said before letting out a sigh.

"Is there something I should be worried about?"

She looked at him and forced a smile, "of course not, Luke."

That was when Luke Hemmings went to the library with Celeste Anderson.
